I totally love this collection. If you are looking for suspense thriller this is awesome. These five authors had me in the edge of my seat. Action packed and lots of twist and turns. I highly recommend this collection!

HELL OR HIGH WATER by Jerrie Alexander - Perfect mix of suspense, romance, passion and danger!!
Nate Wolfe becomes aware that Kay, his ex, is in danger. This man does not understand the word NO (In a very nice way!) But when she is bought by a human trafficker, will he get to her in time?
REFLECTION by Kim Cresswell - Lunch with her ex ends in tragedy and Whitney Steel is given the intel on a human cloning story!! Fabulous read
KILLING SECRETS by K. L. Docter When Rachels demented ex is released from prison, she and their child are his payday to a family fortune. But he doesn't much care what happens to them once he gets the cash. Lovely sub story of the childs trauma resulting in voluntary mutism. Heartbreaking in places!

A wonderful box set of interesting well written romantic suspense books. The following is my review of the individual stories.
Hell or High Water:
Kay is a Child Protection Services officer when she unwitting becomes caught up in a case where her client is murdered and her friend is kidnapped. Help comes from an unlikely source in the form of her former college boyfriend. Kay has not seen Nate for 10 years and now he, along with two of their freinds, wants to help protect her. This is a very interesting and suspenseful story and just when you think it's wrapping up a surprise twist or two is thrown in. Will this intense situation bring two lovers back together.
Reflection
A thrilling romantic suspense. Whitney, a reporter, is approached by her ex-husband for help. He knows why a scientist working for ShawBioGen was killed. He just needs her to prove it. Whitney proceeds to meet with the head of the company Nathan Shaw and asks him outright if scientists there have illegally cloned a human being. Nathan of course does not give her any answers, and she meets the head of security, Blake, who has his own reasons for getting to the bottom of what is going on with their research. Whitney and Blake start a romance while investigating, but what will happen when Whitney learns he is not who she thinks he is? Will they find out what is going on while they are still alive?

A great romantic suspense. Rachel and her daughter are on the run from her ex-husband. She ends up spending time with a family friend and her family with 5 young men to help watch over them. Patrick, one of the sons takes an instant liking to Rachel and her daughter and feels a need to fiercely protect them. Not only is her ex-husband after her but there is a serial killer on the loose.
Broken Pieces
A novella setting up for the next book in the series. Tara has her life together. She is engaged to James, buying a condo and has a successful career. But then her step-brother Markus shows up and blackmails her because of something that happen many years ago when she was 15. At first she pays him off, but when it starts to effect others what will she do?
If I Fail
A good mystery book. Detectives Jake and Louie are partners and this book focuses on several of their outstanding cases. One of the cases involves the murder of Chloe's sister. Chloe is a girl Jake dated a few times and she starts to stalk Jake's new girlfriend. Is she using the case as an excuse to stay close to Jake or is she behind the murder. Jake's new girlfriend Mia is struggling with dating a cop and the fact that he withheld information from her. Then there is the case of Chelsea Adams a social worker who is found murdered. This is a good, involved story but I think I would have enjoyed it more if there weren't quite so many characters. The main characters in the story were likable.
This is great set of mysteries to add to your collection and will provide many hours of entertainment!

I really loved this anthology filled with five exciting reads from different authors. Each book was filled with mystery, action, adventure, suspense, romance, twists, turns, thrills and chills. I sat on the edge of my seat and had a difficult time putting the book down once I started reading. Plus, I added some new authors to my "auto buy" list.
I highly recommend SEASON OF THRILLS and look forward to reading more from Jerrie Alexander, Kim Cresswell, Karen Docter, Rachel Kent, and Marian Lanquette.

I skipped the last two stories as I just didn't get into them but the others were terrific and kept me reading. The first 3 make up for the last two in spades and make this set worth every penny. If you like romantic suspense books that lean more to suspense then this set is for you.
