Good information and well-written, but I didn't like how it was organized. For example, it lists all Adirondack museums together, all Adirondacks dining, etc..., so that if you are looking for information about a specific destination, you have to look in 7 or 8 sections of the book. Since Adirondack towns and attractions are pretty spread out, it would make more sense to list everything for one area together.
The first two chapters covering the history and early transportation of the Adirondack Park make for interesting reading. The maps are excellent. The rest of the guide will be helpful for first time visitors, especially the chapter titled, If Time Is Short.
