Letters from Bulgaria

Rate this book
From 2001 to 2003, Rel Davis and his wife, Edith Sloan, served as Peace Corps volunteers in the impoverished agricultural village of Straldja, located on the Thracian Plains of Bulgaria. Both were older Americans, over 60, living the same lifestyle of third-world villagers and trying to make a difference in a strange land. This is a collection of letters that Rel sent home during that time.
