The Price of Fame

Amazing read. This story had it all love, drama, angst, but love ruled out. I loved the characters of Aiden and Slayde, they were so full of life that you really cared about what happened to them. I would recommend this book to all my friends. Awesome read..

I have been anxiously awaiting this book for a long, long time and it was well worth the wait!! Author Maggi Craft takes us right back into the arms of Slade and his love, Arden and brings along a roller coaster of a ride as well. The reader can never quite figure out where they are going next or what may happen next as author Maggi Craft weaves a plot filled with drama, angst, love, betrayal and loss....the reader can't stop for a single second to process what has happened because they desperately need to read more to see what will be coming at them next. The reader becomes invested in the story, the characters and the outcome and they laugh, cry, yell and scream as they speed through.
This is an amazing story, but one that will leave the reader once again on the edge of their seat to see what will happen next! Make sure you read book 1 first as this picks up right where that one left off. This series is a must read!!

Slade and Arden are married but now face making their marriage work as Arden starts her residency and Slade continues as a hollywood star. Book two focuses more on their relationship. It takes work to make a marriage work and it is even harder when Arden and Slade put in long hours and don't get to see each other. Along the way there are some surprises thrown in. It brings them closer but yet tears them apart.
Once again Ms. Craft weaves a great story between two people that love each other so much but have to fight for their relationship. I was hit with some twists that I did not see coming. Because of this I cried and laughed right alongside Slade and Arden. Because Slade and Arden have to work so hard for their marriage makes the story so realistic. By the time you turn the last page you will be invested in this couple and they will have taken you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. You keep crossing your fingers there is a HEA for them. Of course when I read the last page I I was nervous that there may be another storm to weather in the future for this great couple.

This book became three hundred odd pages of unfounded jealousy & a petty circle of tit for tat whenever this couple had a spat which was on nearly every page.She was mad constantly at him & behaved like a perpetually pouting sixteen year old.
He was half the book irritated at her shrewish tantrums & swiftly escaped into the bottle whenever he got the opportunity to.She trawled the bars thereafter.I was unsure at times whether the 'hero' was a teenager or an adult masquerading as one.The book has no cheating though I believed that would have livened up an otherwise lackluster tale.

Slayde and Arden love each other but their lives are stretched to the breaking points sometimes. Slayde is busy working on movies and Arden is working as a resident in a hospital, so trying to spend time together can be difficult. Them both dealing with hectic schedules makes for some unexpected surprises and very difficult losses and they have to learn to deal with them together. Including an amazing shocking ending will have you needing book 3 immediately.

Ardan & Slade
The second novel about the Price family is absolutely wonderful! You can relate to all the characters! I would recommend this book in a heartbeat!!! Can't wait for the next one!#,
