I would say that
Dolciani's Modern Algebra
with Dunstan Hayden's books for Allyn and Bacon
(algebra one - algebra two - Hayden and Fisher)
Are about the finest layout of Algebra you can get
It's a tremendous book, as long as you start from the beginning
and will cover Algebra 9 10 11 12 perfectly
i'm not even entirely sure one needs Book One of Dolciani actually, i'd say for 90% of people
it's not necessary (but it might make grade 8 and 9 easier)
