I should have stopped reading at the end of this one. Don't waste your time or money. Luckily for me the "series" was free in another book. I'm hoping this was one of KB's earlier works.
It's not just simplistic and unrealistic; it's completely poorly written. Remy's whole macho "I need to be in control, I just want to take care of you" routine is not only cliched, it comes off as abusive, domestic violence in the making. I know that's not the author's intention but it is the outcome nonetheless.
Again, hoping this is an early work as a few pieces in the book were pretty good. I highly recommend skipping this 3-part piece. The sexy times aren't that good and everything else is just plain bad (and not in a good way!).
Oh, and there is no such thing as "first annual." It can't be annual until AFTER the first one has happened. It's either the first or the inaugural. Then it can be the second annual, third annual, etc.

KB Winters I don't know what you are trying to do to us with these cliff hanger endings that you keep giving us, for me its like a heart attack waiting to happen just not knowing when. This was one amazing read.
The story in this book is very well written and well developed and the plot is very fast paced. The characters in this book are very well written and I found myself very smitten with the super, hot sexy Remy and I guess I also need to mention the women who seems to have captured Remy's heart and that's Olivia or as her friends know her Livvie. The chemistry between these two are off the charts from the first moment they meet and is felt every time they are together.
Out with a friend Livvie meets the handsome Remy at a charity event that she was dragged to, but when he comes on too strong Livvie is sent running and Remy is left crushed, he saw and her and wanted her and tried to do everything he could to get her in bed. When Remy cant get Livvie off his mind he has a private detective find her and he worms his way into her world. Livvie is livid when Remy shows up and sticks his nose into her business meeting with possible bands she wants to work with, even though when he mentions his name it helps her to get them. Livvie agrees to one date with Remy and when she cant take it any more gives in and they sleep together, but when Remys mom appears Livvie runs turns tail and runs. What Livvie does not realize is that she needs Remy in order to help get her business off the ground, will she take a chance with Remy, or will one night be all they have.
This is a warning to all you readers, the cliff hanger at the end of this book will leave you watching the calendar with anticipation of the release of book two in the series, bring on book two.

K.B. Winters of all the series you have written so far this is my absolute favorite, and they have all been amazing, so that is saying something!
Fate Interrupted is this fantastic book about Olivia Sanders who has just graduated college and has started her own entertainment company and has just stepped out for an evening with a friend to a charity event when she runs into the extremely SMOKING HOT bachelor Remington Maddox. Remy's life was just fine he had an all access pass to the high life great food, hot women, travel what could be better and then he spotted her and things began to change he couldn't get enough of her, question is was Fate going to make it that easy? This book was so incredible I loved every single word! It was full of hot and steamy action I seriously found myself re-reading those parts several times they were so intense and amazing! This book has some major drama going on in it as well and there are some characters that you are going to have that love/hate relationship with but it made for one amazing read!
KB Winters did one fantastic job creating this smooth and intense connection between the characters in her story and as a reader you felt that connection come through when you were reading it. This book ends on one heck of a cliff hanger and I can't wait until the next one comes out too see where it takes us!

WOW! K.B. Winters…..another series……another bar you have set!!!
Remington Maddox. The name just sounds HOT, right? Well he is! He’s also a bastard! But he’s so cute and, well, hot that he gets away with it. Well….mostly.
Remy is a man-whore who thinks it’s his life’s mission to be a player. Why would he want just one woman when there are so many out there? That is until he see’s……
Livvie. She’s into music, is trying to start her own business and not trying to start a relationship. When Remy gets turned down by her, well it’s not something that happens very often, and he’s to going to give up.
After tracking her down and giving her an offer she won’t be able to turn down, she of course does. But does she really? Livvie is very smart and knows how to play the game.
Mommy Maddox OMG! She is definitely someone to hate. She is a terrible awful person. She manipulates Remy, hates Livvie and is just a two-faced terrible person. But don’t we love having someone to hate?!?!?
There is a lot of things going on in this book which makes it so exciting you won’t be able to put it down. Can Remy & Livvie make it when it seems there are too many obstacles?
Like I said, K.B. Winters has hit another one out of the ballpark. Loved this book!!!!

Fate Interrupted Book 1 is of course the first book in this whirlwind set. I would give this book a 4 stars and would definitely recommend to others. This is the start of Remy and Livvie's journey and oh what a journey they start off with.
Each book in this series is pretty short but it is packed full of twists and turns. I can't wait to get my hands on the second book because this will end with quite the cliffy and it will make you saying are you kidding me! This is the first book I have read by K.B. Winters but I have a feeling I will be reading much more in the future!
When sparks are flying and the are connecting in intimate ways they are perfect for eachother.. but its the outside world stuff that doesn't seem to fit. But will fate have a way of making its way in to show them the path they should lead? Or will one walk away in the end?
Go get this book asap and check out the other 2 books in this series.. my reviews to follow for those as well!

I really don't read serials very often, but I refuse to miss any by KB Winters. They're kindle crack, and I can't get enough.
Olivia Sanders is trying to break into the music scene with her new music management company. She's very driven, and hard working, but doesn't have the clients or money yet. Remington Maddox is a rich playboy who's never hurting for female company. When he lays eyes on Olivia, the explosive sparks light up the sky.
This is a quick and extremely sexy read. The story is well written, with a fast paced plot. Character development is great, and Remington & Olivia are easy to love instantly. Their chemistry is so SMOKIN HOT, I could feel the sparks fly out of my kindle. KB Winters is brilliant at quickly engaging my attention, while keeping it until I'm ready to snap at the cliffhanger. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I read this book as part of the anthology Filthy Rich: 21 Book Billionaire Romance Bundle.
I found this book to be the most realistic of the books included in the anthology thus far. It had plenty of substance to it. I really enjoyed Remy and Livvy's characters; they were well fleshed-out and I felt like I could understand what makes them tick. This book does end in a cliffhanger but does not boast a HFN ending. I think this series has a lot of promise and am definitely interested in continuing with Fate Interrupted 2!

If I could describe Remington Maddox in two words it would be "rat b@#+?!d"...... You will call him that as well when you read this book.

But now she wants it and she offers Remy a deal. But does he want more in return sure he does but with his reputation and mother pulling the trust fund cards whenever she can on him. Remy comes from money but he does not fit in with all of the fake wealthy types at the events his mother makes him go to. His mother is an evil woman, who puts on a great face. But underneath treats Remy like a person she can manipulate to do whatever she says otherwise he loses his trust fund. Remy meets Livvie and she challenges him. She is not an easy lay and he makes her work for her attention. Remy realizes that he needs her in his life something he never thought about with another woman. His mother does not think she is worth his time and will pull out all stops to try to make sure they are not together. This is a hot, steamy and fast past must read first book in this series!

Started this book late one evening and had to stay up to finish, it's brilliant and can't wait to read the rest of the series. Olivia and Remington meet at a posh party and sparks fly straight away, but things and people are getting in the way, can their relationship survive or will it all crash down. I really enjoyed this book, and the storyline being slightly different Olivia is so sassy and is determind to succeed in her business but she has a big problem being money and Remington has plenty of that can it work...... loved K B Winters other books and this one is not going to let me down, a sure success and a definite read.

Smoking hot Remy leads a privileged life. Yet, this grown man has mommy pulling his trust fund purse strings. Will he follow through on her demands and stay away from a certain girl or will Remy pursue Livvie? KB Winters does a fantastic job using both character's POV and I love the ending. Yes, there's a slight cliffhanger, but it's so worth the read!

What a great start to K.B. Winters new series!!! Twisted relationship between a man and his mom might put a damper on the relationship he wants to begin. Remy's mother already has quite the opinion on Levvie, and she isn't afraid to let everyone know. Levvie doesn't want anything to do with it but Remy pulls her back in. What an ending, I can't wait to see where she takes these two!!

What a great start to this series! Livvie is dragged to a charity dinner by her friend Tessa. There she catches Remy's eyes. Remy is a trust fund baby controlled by Mommy. Or is he? What is to become of their relationship?

K.B. Winters has done it again!!! This is a great beginning to a new series!!! I love the writing style of K.B. Winters!! You will be sucked into this book as soon as you begin reading it and won't want to put it down until you are done! Looking forward to Fate Interrupted #2!!!

I'm not really sure how I feel about this book. it's interesting and boring at the same time. the overly ambitious girl and the rich guy trying to get from under mommy's purse strings by defying her. if I didn't already have a copy of book 2, I would stop the series.
