Riptide
“We’d been married nearly two years when our lives suddenly took a bad turn, right over a precipice. I had awakened in the wee hours of the morning and decided I was a little hungry. I fixed a small bowl of cereal and stood by the French doors gazing out at the stars. I watched as the first grey light of dawn slowly made the stars begin to fade. Micah was suddenly at my side.
“I need to get you out of here,” he said between clenched teeth.
“Why?” I gasped. His whole body was quivering and tense and I realized he was having a ‘fight or flight’ reaction.
“Three mermen, maybe more, are coming,” he said in a low voice, almost a growl. “They’re coming for you.”
I gasped again. “Why?”
“I’m not sure,” he said. “I don’t thi…”
He stopped talking mid-word.”

I finished this book today and it was as awesome as the first book “Tides”! Actually even more so! Very sensual, vivid, evocative and captivating!! WOW JUST WOW!!! It was one hell of an awesome read!! Can’t wait to get “Tsunami” and “Vortex” read! 2 more reviews to come!

The Riptide with this cover is not the correct book. The version I have has a different cover, but it is the same title and author??? I gave this book four stars, but if it were the same book as what I have, I would give it five stars. I will check back to see if you have updated the cover.
