Though I haven’t read it cover to cover, this book is a gem. The author is equal parts hilarious and savage, and it’s informative too!

Solid reference catalog of streams, but be careful as you will occasionally find information that is either outdated or otherwise wrong. Also keep in mind that the author, Ed "Boulderbuster" Gertler, is willing to paddle smaller, rocky stretches of streams that the casual canoeist generally would avoid.

An excellent guidebook for canoe and kayak enthusiasts. Tons of paddling spots are listed, along with a ton of useful information. The reviews are informative as well as humorous.
