I admit the two stars might be my own ego and lack of understanding talking, but my god this was a dry read. Isn’t the point of these kinds of books to make it easier to understand the philosophy than reading the primary texts? Really feel like I would’ve been better off reading Sri Aurobindo’s own work
In reality: it is WE who create ourselves and our world. Thus it is the inner life which is of essential importance, everything else being merely its expression and result.
If we are really to grow into a divine life: our inner life is our first preoccupation.
This might be a 2-star book, but, for the most part, I like philosophy and new things. My lacking any background of the Bhagavad-Gita hindered my understanding. I probably need to read more.
