Israel Strikes: War of the Red Sea

Rate this book
The War of the Red Sea has Begun! Two years after the destruction of their nuclear program and Israel's bloody victory over their Hezbollah and Syrian proxies, the Iranian government opens up a new front in their quest to destroy the Jewish State. Iranian made rockets are smuggled through Sudan to Gaza, where HAMAS begins an unprecedented rocket war against the Jews. Events quickly spin out of control as Israel's covert war blossoms into a full scale airborne and amphibious assault. At home political turmoil ensues as General Natan Nagid, the ambitious Minister of Defence, victor in the last war and self proclaimed 'man who would lead Israel' makes his move for the Prime Minister's job. Meanwhile, the Saudi Prince Regent sees an opportunity and makes his own play for power in the Persian Gulf. In Washington, the outgoing administration tries to keep the peace. The lights are going out across the Middle East…

A great read

I only wish I knew what happened next. Can anyone tell me if there is another book in the series?

Prescient Fiction

Perhaps serendipitous, perhaps a real seer, or, perhaps a logical dream. This is a story woven from threads visible to many, but seen by few.

Some questions

The book was a good read, great for the summer, but, what happened to the young Sudanese soldier the Iranian agent picked up during the Israeli operation. Also what happened to the Iranian plot to detonate a dirty bomb in Israel. Some unanswered questions but still a good read.

I was rather impressed with the book

William Stroock writes in the same style as Tom Clancy. He moves quickly from scenarios involving different characters. I read the book in 2 sittings.

Very pro Israeli

Everything excluding the Hezbollah attacks read realistically. General Harrisburg was a joke and so we're his actions. Sorry for a reality check. Also apache gun ships use 30mg guns not 20 mg.

A chess match

Shows the quagmire that the middle east has become. Each entity maneuvering for advantage, both countries and individuals within the countries. The book is a story of what ifs, with Israel as the center of the story line. A very good read.
