Desiree Holt, also writing as Judith Rochelle, has lived a life of excitement that brings the color to her writing. Knowing Judith personally and having read her previous books what can I say about this one wow this book is fantastic - she has grown as an author and it shows in her writing and gift for story telling. I love romantic suspense but add a touch of paranormal with thrilling action and great characters is my kind of story. Judith did a superb job of creating and writing this story and one of her best works to date it is now amongst my keepers to be re-read. The story starts with a hook and keeps the reader that being me, turning the pages; I read it in one sitting and refused to move until the last page. I was sad to leave them and wanted to read more.

I could tell you more about the setting the characters etc but frankly - it's best left and for the individual reader to enjoy. I've since found out there are going to be more books in this series featuring secondary characters from this book and I for one can not wait for the next one.
