Young Adult Contemporary Romance
Box Set- FAST & WAIT

FAST - Basically you have Robin who has a thing for Kent (the boy next door). Good News! Kent likes her back. Problem - Robin is a shy timid pain in the ass who needs a wake up call. Hmm, Kent needs a way to fix this. AHA - A plan! Make Robin jealous with the popular and oh-so slutty, Ashley. How can that plan fail? Well, for starters Robin is not the only one jealous by Kent and Ashley's new-found friendship.
Enter the hot younger brother, Patrick. By the end you have one very happy couple and one not so happy couple. Yikes!

WAIT - Tessa is looking for love...BUT that's it! At least for now. Why does it seem like everybody else is just out for a good time? Isn't anyone willing to wait for sex that actually means something? It sure doesn't seem like it to the curly haired prude. Hello Tucker!
Then you have Cassie. She waited just a bit too long to let her real feelings be known for her friend -turned- faux brother, Mark. Now seeing him with someone else is making her see red! Whoops. Who could've seen that coming? Oh, that's right...everyone!!!

Hi, I’m Ryan Ringbloom, a Jersey girl who doesn’t write Alphas. I couldn’t if I tried. Social Media stresses me the frick out, yet I can’t seem to walk away from it. I love to binge watch TV. I think cats are awesome. I’m obsessed with coffee and Fireball. But never together. I am counting down the days until self-driving cars are the norm. And if there is ever a zombie apocalypse, I won’t even try to run. I will let the first one I see eat my brain and get it over with.

Before I became a young-adult writer, I was a young-adult reader. Take into account that I stopped being a young-adult quite a long time ago, the love always remained. So after coming across Ryan Ringbloom, author extraordinaire, and learning that she was also a young adult writer (to start), I didn’t need any other type of push to pick up these books, and even now, having read them more than once over the last year plus, I don’t regret a second of.

Ryan captures the lives of young adults perfectly. Taken from two different ends of the spectrum, kids living in the fast lane and also ones that want to do things different by waiting (sometimes even waiting too long), it was almost as though I stepped into one of my favorite television shows watching how these stories played out. I laughed, cried, wanted to pull my hair out, throw my kindle, slap the characters, and snuggle up with them. It was just that good of a read.

In true young adult fangirl style, I picked one couple from each book, despite wanting to love them all equally and even now, so many months later, they’re still my favorites. I will always have a soft spot for Tessa/Tucker and Ashley and Patrick. In fact, I’m still searching high and low for my very own Patrick, because as you’ll see when you read them, you can’t go wrong with a little Patrick in your life.

I’m so glad to see these two books put together in a set. If you’re a fan of young adult, realistic storylines and redemption, you definitely need to pick this up. You won’t be disappointed.

Fast is Ryan's very first foray into young adult romance. I downloaded it two days ago and DEVOURED it. Every spare second was spent with my nose in my Kindle. I couldn't get enough of Ashley, Patrick, Robin and Kent. I also have to say, just as an aside, I love Ryan's storytelling style. She begins the first section through the eyes of her heroines and then moves into a second part that is driven by the heroes. It is a unique way of capturing the perspectives of each character and she's definitely established the delivery as her signature style.

The book greatly exceeded my expectations. Ryan breathed life into her characters, giving them depth and dimension. I knew them, felt their pain as well as their passion.

What else can I say? I just LOVED it. I hope you take the same chance. You won't be disappointed.

The second book in the Fast series was as fantastic as the first! I adore these characters and enjoyed the emotional roller coaster ride that never ended until I read "The End." Cassie and Mark were great, though I have to admit, I'm partial to Tessa and Tucker. Tessa's innocence was so refreshing and comical at times. So many scenes absolutely cracked me up - Tessa's reactions were priceless!!! And Tucker...sigh. I love how hard he worked to get his girl. I'm also glad Ashley had a pretty significant role in this book since she'd another one of my favorite Ryan Ringbloom creations.

Wow...when I first picked up these book, I thought they would just be another typical teenage love story. These books were soooo much more than that. It exceeded my expectations...completely blew me away. I laughed, I cried, heck I even blushed like a giddy little teenager. The author did an excellent job at portraying all the different emotions and experience which most young adults go through which shape them into who they become. Absolutely beautiful & very well written stories which will captivate you from start to finish and stay with you long after bringing it to an end. These two books right here are WONDERFUL, BRILLIANT and FANTASTIC !!!!
