Jane Yolen is a novelist, poet, fantasist, journalist, songwriter, storyteller, folklorist, and children’s book author who has written more than three hundred books. This is a cross between a picture book and a chapter book that would be good for young readers to practice their reading fluency and gain reading confidence. The story... not so great but a good practice book.
