This is a compilation of Ch'i-Ch'ing Hsiao's Papers about China and Korea under the Mongol Rule. In the article about the Inner Asian invasion of China , Hsiao argues that the concept of universal khanship and pursuing of the equal status and independence would be possible reasons of the war waged by the nomads with China. The paper intermarriage between the Yuan and Korea is also an important patch in this topic. The study of the four preeminent families ("four steads" of Chinggis Khan) of the Yuan is a very comprehensive article about this topic. Although he claims that the Yuan Dynasty is relying on resource of China, these articles do not present that the Yuan dependence on the West Asian officials. I think Hsiao draws a good picture for the Chinese elements of the Yuan dynasty, but this is not complete. However, Hsiao does contribute something important for us.
