Just Released: Life After Prison

Rate this book
Society would have one to believe that prison was designed to somehow rehabilitate all types of criminals to make them better by locking them down to reflect on their illegal actions. Prisoners, however, will tell you that is not the case. In fact, they will tell you how they learn more about crime on the inside, behind prison walls, than they would simply serving probation while on the outside.Charley “Wiz” Grayson, is an educated, 40 year old bi-racial, divorced woman with no children. She lived a upper middle class lifestyle until greed changed her into a white collar criminal who embezzled over half a million dollars as a Finance Manager for a large investment firm.Sentenced to 6.5 years for two counts of embezzlement and fraud to serve time in a federal facility outside of Phoenix, Arizona, she vowed to learn all she could from her fellow inmates. After serving five years, she was released as a new and improved criminal with the smarts to out-smart any system. Just Released is her story.

Good read...

Can't wait for next series to see what Charley will do next. This book was too short but builds with a climax that leaves you waiting for more. Also needs more editing but the few errors don't take away from the book.
