Spanish language version of 'The Blue Tortoise' from the 'Little Giants' series, this adorable children's picture book is very simple both in terms of plot and use of language. It tells a story somewhat similar to that of the classic fable from Aesop, 'The Tortoise & the Hare'. Illustrations are super simple cartoon drawings with bright colors. A Spanish teacher friend of mine uses this book in his high school classroom as a good introduction to basic grammatical sentences (e.g., "La Tortuga Azul va a un día de campo. Todo el mundo estará allí.")

Actually I think this is a kind of spin on The Tortoise and the Hare, but it was pretty cute, and I liked the repetition.
