A gripping first-hand account of a hacker crew hunting a paedophile ring with the connivance of London’s Metropolitan Police.
As we hacked and sniffed and snooped our way across South London, the Met chalked up the results and omitted to check whether any Computer Misuse laws had been broken. It was an incestuous and self-serving love-child, the illegitimate offspring of we hackers and of the forces put in place to stop us.
This is the story of what we did, and how we did it. It will blow your mind as you realise just how many footprints you leave behind whilst you - so you believe - anonymously move around the Internet.
Good book, very fast moving and surprisingly technically accurate for a hacker book. Enjoyed the characters in the book and would definitely read more from this author.
A most interesting read, much of which I could relate to, but with a shocker of an ending that I never expected! A well written (but not so well edited) book, but easy to follow and quite gripping in parts! Would recommend to anyone with the slightest interest in the subject matter.
