The Streets Bleed Murder

Rate this book
To rise to the top of the drug game no one man can do it alone. With this in mind, three diehard friends, GANGSTA, KASH and DANK band together to take over the streets. There is strength in numbers and the savvy but vicious trio are primed to put the game on lock. Until one man's mistake, one lustful moment and one disloyal act threatens to bring them down. Under the pressure applied by cops, will friends turn into foes or will their true love for one another rise to the top? Meanwhile, a different type of love lies in the balance. Sisters, NENE and ERICA are as different as night and day. The one thing they do have in common is their love for a certified thug. And in Kash, Dank, and Gangsta they find thuggism and much, much more. Will the two beautiful sisters be able to survive the cold realities that come with loving a gangsta? Or will they get caught in the middle of the gunfire when the treachery between the men turn ugly and THE STREETS BLEED MURDER.

This book took me on a remarkable journey that I never would have expected. I hesitated to even begin it because this is not my typical genre however on a frustrating night when I couldn't sleep and couldn't find one single book to hold my interest I gave The Streets Bleed Murder a chance. It became a book I didn't want to put down and when I did have to it stayed with me. The story was fast paced, characters were well developed and relatable in a sense that I felt I understood them despite the world described within the pages of the book being so very far from real life for me. It was a thought provoking book for me and made me realize that though we share this planet with each other, we all live in our own little worlds. It opened my mind and made me realize I should not judge every action of every man based upon my own upbringing and understanding of my "world" because someone else's choices maybe made for reasons I couldn't even fathom. Pretty deep. And though that may not have been the intention of Mr. Jackson it is proof that good writing and a good story can mean many things to many different people and no two people ever read the same book.

My only disappointment was that this was a cliffhanger. The story held me captive and when I turned the page and found out that I wouldn't know the ending I wanted to scream... so if you're going to have a cliffhanger, that is absolutely the way to do it. Gah! Can't wait to find out what happens next, Mr. Jackson can count on one more sale as part two is released. Looking forward to it and many more from this extraordinary new author.

Omg!

Now that's how you deliver a book. First book read by this author and baby did bring it or what. He did that. Lash was by far my favorite character( that's bae). I think he was the most solid one out of everyone. I hate how that phuck boy Dank did him. He grimmey for that. Gangsters he was ok but he was shady too. He had me mad how he did NeNe. I knew she was going to leave him. He thoughts about Bam was correct. Glad he listened to his gut. Lord this was something good. I need that part 2 TOMORROW lol. I need to know who got Nene and her son and what's going to happen with Kash and Dank. I hope to God Kash gash t out some kind of way but the way it's looking that's going to be a negative. Job well done Jerry Jackson you the truth suga.

Wow! Is all I can say....

It has bee a while since I read a complete page turner. This is my first read by this author, but it will not be my last. I was immediately drawn in from the first page. The plot, the characters, the events were written from a vivid imagination. If I didn't know any better I would believe that every event and person are real. Congratulations, on a error free, well written story!

What is going on

I got a bad feeling that someone close to Gangang is the one that took his family.Everyone is out for self.He should have let the Mexican guy go to back him up.
