This has a long story. My father had bought it years ago in a used book sale or something. I discovered it years later, and loved it.
I love her practical, easygoing approach to cooking, and her good taste, also the vibrant, fun character that peeps through the recipies.

Humorous, irreverent look at birders and cooking/baking for birders. Epilogue contains the usual recipe for elephant stew. Last line: "Now you are on your own. Happy cooking."
