Collected folktales from the area surrounding Lake Victoria (Lake Nyanza) in Africa. The tone here is interesting. It can be difficult at times to distinguish the voice of Harmon from the voice of the original storytellers and it's not clear to me if this is deliberate or not. Other times the framing of Harmon hearing the story from another person is quite clear. The map at the front is useful for placing the different stories in relation to each other and the variety in the stories is wide. No explicit source notes for each story are present, but Harmon does include an introduction with some background on how he collected the stories in general.
