It Only Hurts When I Can't Run is one girls story of abuse and abandonment by a mother who was addicted to drugs. It talks about how she overcame adversity to become who she is now. My problem is I could not get drawn into the story, I did make it half way through before finally giving up. I know that this is a true story but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not sure if it was the writing style, I just know that it didn't hold my interest to read any further.
