Knight Chronicles I-III

Rate this book
This compilation edition of the startling serial killer diary series presents three short books, complete and unabridged: Book #1, Killing Matt Cooper, Book #2, Killing Sam Knight, and Book #3, Killing Miss Underwood. Book #1 finds FEMA crisis manager by day and serial killer by night Samuel H. Knight falling in love with the FBI agent hunting him. Book #2 puts Knight an unusual situation: for once, he's happy. This clouds his judgment and brings him into the crosshairs of another vicious killer. Book #3 takes up one year after Book #2, as Knight is now on the run with a newborn son and an assumed identity -- and runs afoul of a cult worshipping his past deeds.

stars DARK EROTIC THRILLER
THE FIRST BOOK IS STILL MY ALL TIME FAVORITE IN THE SERIES, BK#2 RUNNING A CLOSE SECOND, WITH BK#3 MY LEAST LIKED OF THE THREE BOOK SERIES. OVER ALL IT IS A VERY DARK READ AND NOT FOR THE SQUIMISH IF YOU LIKE A “DEXTER” TYPE CHARACTER, READING THIS SHOULD NOT BE A PROBLEM FOR YOU.
AFTER READING ALL OF THIS SERIES THE OUTCOME OF BK#3 REALLY SURPRISED ME, I DIDN’T SEE THAT COMING. I LIKE QUIRKY & DIFFERENT TYPES OF STORY LINES BUT BK#3 REALLY THREW ME OFF. I THINK TO GET THE FULL IMPACT YOU NEED TO READ ALL THREE BOOKS TO REALLY UNDERSTAND THE WHOLE EVOLUTION OF MATT/JOHN/SAM/MAURICE. IT’S A VERY DARK AND DISTURBING STORY LINE WHICH CAN BRING OUT STRANGE FEELINGS IN THE READER. YOU WANT TO STOP READING BUT YOU CAN’T SEEM TO, FEELINGS FOR A CHARACTER THAT YOU SHOULDN’T (so many mixed emotions). HE HAS COME FULL CIRCLE; I’M LEFT WONDERNG WHERE CAN IT GO FROM HERE SINCE HIS METAMORHOSIS SEEMS TO BE COMPLETE??
I READ EACH BOOK AND RATED THE FIRST TWO WITH 5*stars AND THE THIRD BOOK I GAVE 3 ½ *stars OVERALL I DID ENJOY READING THE SERIES I JUST WASN’T HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME OF BK#3. I WOULD HAVE TO PUT IN A SPOILER (which I will not do) IN ORDER TO REALLY EXPLAIN WHY. IF YOU LIKE CRAZY-QUIRKY-DARK-EROTIC THRILLERS GO FOR IT, NOT SORRY I DID.

You can read this series individually or pick up this collection with three novels in one. The story is a strange mix as told by the serial killer and the woman, who is with the FBI, who may be worse than he is at deviant behavior, this book needs a mature rating and delves into the mind of a serial killer, by the 3rd book in the collection things are going to change and tables will be turned.
