Take this one with a grain of salt. A lot of hyperbole and the retelling of fiction surrounding the national pastime. The author does tell the reader this up front, but it nonetheless needs to be taken into account as most of the tales are not factually accurate. Many syntax errors (and instead of an) and misspellings of players names really take something away as well.
A fair to middling collection of baseball anecdotes, most of which were probably old when they were first told. The only saving grace this book has the the over the top writing, even if it does get repetitive at times. A quick, easy read but not really worth the time.
