Biker Bears #3

Bear With Me

Milo has been a bear shifter in captivity for a long time. So after his brothers, Race and Nolan, and their mates rescue him, he kind of becomes a hermit. The one unattached grizzly brother, Warrick, has taken him in, and is trying to ease him back into the world, but Milo just isn't sure he wants to participate.
Oldest brother and protector Warrick knows Milo needs to let his bear self heal him, and for that he needs to shift. His human side needs closure, too, so he sets out to make sure the people who held him hostage pay for what they did.
Milo learns to trust Warrick, and to love his mate dearly, but he also knows he has to stand on his own two feet or four paws and defend himself. Can he find the courage, with Warrick's love, to live with his past and move on to the future?
Bear with me is a MM bear shifter omegaverse romance with a big, protective grizzly, an uncertain black bear, and a kick butt campaign to take down a trafficking ring.

Bear With Me by Minerva Howe is the 3rd book in her Biker Bears series. It is the story of a bear who had been held captive, the one who helped rescue him, and how they realized they were mates while going after the ones who took him. Milo was a black bear shifter who was recently rescued from being kidnapped and held for a long time by a trafficking ring. He was used to keep the others calm but also drugged so he couldn’t shift. His brothers, Nolan and Race, had been apart and had problems of their own but found their mates with Ryder and Connal whose older brother was Warrick, all of whom were grizzly shifters. Together they rescued Milo and he was staying with Warrick who was worried about him because he rarely left his room as that was where he felt the safest. But Warrick knew that if he was going to heal, he needed to get out and see his brothers and try to shift. He slowly coaxed him out with dinner and didn’t put pressure on him and he was careful and gentle. Then they napped in the den and since he felt safe, protected, and wanted, he shifted for the first time when he heard Warrick’s voice urging him to do that. They talked and then realized they were mates. But they still didn’t know who was behind the kidnappings and their friends Quinn who owned the bar and his mate Tiago were looking into it. Then someone shows up in the woods beside Warrick’s house and he summons his brothers and they discover he has information on a person who might be behind everything. Milo is slowly coming out of his shell and wants to make sure no one has to go through what he did so he summons his courage and along with his brothers and their mates says he is done running and will help out in any way he can, even if it means that he has to be the bait, which scares Warrick. They kiss and have a hot love scene which involves knotting and both know they are each other’s mates. After everyone gets together and makes a plan about getting the guy in charge of the ring they go forward and put it into action. There are a few hiccups and some suspense along the way, but they get the information they need when Milo is wired and stands up to him and then everyone comes and takes him down. This leads to Milo being very proud of facing his fears and he shifts on his own showing that he is healing. They also claim each other and are looking forward to a wonderful life together. I really enjoyed this story. There is a lot of heartache in the beginning when Milo is first rescued and scared to leave his room. Warrick suspects that he is special and does all he can to make him feel safe and comfortable. They slowly do things together that brings him out of his room and experiencing life again as he starts to heal. Then the stranger shows up with news about the head of the smuggling/trafficking ring and Milo stands up for himself by working with everyone to bring him down. Warrick is with him every step of the way and is so proud of how far he has come. They know they are mates and act on it by claiming each other and wanting to be together. Their brothers and their friends are all there to help, not only with taking down the bad guy but also in being there for Milo. I highly recommend this book, especially if you like stories about a bear shifter who has been held captive and rescued by his mate, learning to live again, and then working together to bring justice to the one who took him.

Milo completely stole my heart in this one. 🥹 After everything he’s been through, seeing him slowly learn how to feel safe again was honestly heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time.
Warrick was exactly the kind of man Milo needed. He’s this huge, protective grizzly, but with Milo he’s incredibly patient and gentle. He never pushes him before he’s ready, and I loved watching that trust slowly develop between them. Warrick’s determination to protect Milo—and make sure the people who hurt him pay—just made me love him even more.

Milo’s journey is definitely the emotional heart of the story. Watching him regain confidence, reconnect with his bear, and realize that he’s worthy of being loved made their relationship feel so much more meaningful.
There’s danger, trauma, protective bear shifters, and the darker trafficking storyline, but the romance keeps bringing everything back to that feeling of safety and belonging.

This was just a fun short read and great to see all sets of brothers together again 💕

In the third installment of Howe’s Biker Bear Series we pick up where book two left off. Black bear shifter Milo, was rescued from traffickers by his brothers and their grizzly bear mates and he is currently staying with Warrick. Warrick is the oldest grizzly brother, who also happens to be Milo’s mate. A fact that no one is bringing up considering Milo is very fragile and trusts no one.
All Warrick wants to do is protect Milo and earn his trust. He never thought he would find a mate so he sees Milo as a treasure. He wants to love and cherish him and make his kidnappers pay. Milo knows the giant grizzly is his mate; he just needs to find the strength to heal and trust again to claim him.
This is another great book in the series about two sets of brother bears who find each other. Each book features a unique couple with such a different story but they are best to be read in order.

Milo and Warrick’s story! Milo has been through so much. He just needs time and space and the feeling of safety that his grizzly mate Warrick can provide. I have enjoyed these books so much. These grizzly and black bear shifters were just meant to be their own little family of bears. Their own den. It’s a good interconnected series with the wolves, rescuing those in need and helping them find a way to heal. Definitely worth a read.

A sweet fated mates story.

Warwick was a keeper: he slowly won his mate’s trust and he was so patient with him.

Milo made me laugh especially when he went all badass when someone was caught on their land. He was sweet but his ordeal left him broken but with his mate’s help, he slowly came out of shell and stopped locking himself away.

A fast paced book!

The final book in these series and it was just as good as the other ones.
Warrick was patient and doing everything he could for his mate to be happy and feel free again.
Milo was finally free of the traffickers but it wasn't easy. It took time but he eventually foind himself again, all with the help of his mate and his brothers and their mates
