I am an online marketer and once-upon-a-time artist. I have two fiction series that I'm currently working on:

- Stellar Conflict (Tales of crew and soldiers aboard a warship at the end of a long interstellar war); Five books self-published in the series so far.
- Cold Case: FBI (Three FBI agents investigating cold cases. One of them is a witch.); Actually a planned trilogy. The first book, The Good Witch, is being pitched; Second book, the Curse of the Bayous, is nearing completion.

After reading the first book in the series I thought I'd try one of the following short stories. It was an entertaining story and showed a little more of some of the main characters. I don't mind the short stories but it would be nice for there to be more full size novels to come after the first one. Its like getting small morsels handed to you when you are waiting for the next course of the meal. The series is decent so hopefully it will play out in further full size novels instead of just in bits and pieces through short stories.

This is a quick read. I found this to an interesting read. The story, characters and the pace of the story were good.
