After Mecca and Mila's mother dies from a drug overdose, they find themselves taken under the wing of Primo, a local drug dealer. Primo shows Mecca the ropes and helps him get on his feet in the game. Although Mecca is grateful for Primo's help, he can't help falling in love with Primo's girlfriend, Amor. He tries to push his feelings to the side and with that in mind, he moves to New York to make a fresh start for himself.

Five years later, Mecca realizes how much he misses his little sister Mila and his hometown of Boston and he decides to return. Old feelings resurface when he lays eyes on Amor once again.
