Continue the investigations of THE CRIME FILES OF KATY GREEN with Book #2, SHADOW OF THE DARK ANGEL!
Samuel Kubiak has severe issues. A distraught survivor of the California Foster Care System, he suffers from a condition of alopecia, incessant bullying, and a bizarre sexual frustration... But just as life seems its worst, he's visited by a dark guardian angel: One who whispers into his ear that by walking in His shadow, Samuel can avenge himself on all who have wronged him.
And so do a string of grisly murders begin to emerge across Sacramento, victims whose killer seems to have emerged from nowhere and left without leaving any clue.
Assigned to the gruesome case are homicide detectives Katy Green and Johnny Cato, dubbed by the press as Sacramento's "Green Hornet and Cato." There hasn't been a case yet they haven't solved, but now how can they track down a psychopathic suspect that comes and goes in the shadows?

THE CRIME FILES OF KATY GREEN #1: DOUBLE JACK (a novella) THE CRIME FILES OF KATY GREEN #3: DEATHFLASH
Great book by Gene O'Neill, gripping detective thriller mixed with the supernatural. This is the second in the series after DOUBLE JACK, and I'm looking forward to the next!
Another great book. This author Gene O’Neill has been writing for a long time and Ive read his books before. This is second in a series of three, and I hope for more!
Gene O'Neill’s SHADOW OF THE DARK ANGEL is second in the series, “THE CRIME FILES OF KATY GREEN”. Excellent convergence of dark mystery, detective thrills, and light horror. Gene is a master author in multiple forms and genres. Great read all throughout!
SHADOW OF THE DARK ANGEL is the second book in the series, THE CRIME FILES OF KATY GREEN. I read these books out of order, first #1 (DOUBLE JACK), and then #4 (A STICK OF DOUBLEMINT), and then this one, SHADOW, and they are all stand-alone stories, so made no difference to continuity except for a bit about a relationship arc, and them working for P.D. or in their own agency. Either way, these are all great stories, especially this one SHADOW, which deals with tragic bullying that leads to creation of a serial killer. Good action scenes, thrills, with back-and-forth viewpoints between the detectives and the killer.
