500 butterflies from around the world by Ken Preston- Mafham is about the 500 butterflies from different countries added up all together. The book is about butterfly classification to make the types of butterflies specific and easy to know.

This book might be 2nd person because it is telling the fact to you. For instance, a butterfly named the Queen is a poisonous/ toxic butterfly and is mostly safe because predators go away from this butterfly.

I recommend to read this book because, it is a guide to different butterflies and will give you good knowledge about them. If you go to a different country, you could be aware of poisonous butterflies or see butterflies you know. THIS BOOK IS AWESOME.

This book is beautiful. Each page contains a short write-up about the specific butterfly featured in the photo on the page. My favorite butterflies were the Lacy Tree Nymph shown on page 63, the Malachite Longwing shown on page 77, and the Snout Buterfly shown on page 125, the Fluffy Tit (No, I am not making that name up) on page 161, The Malagasy White-barred Gladiator on page 206, Mylitta Butterfly on page 246, Edwards's Forester on page 254, Malachite on page 355.
