This is a book in the "woman's spiritual path through work with a tribal elder" genre and frankly, it's not the best, but still an entertaining read. Everything is here - from the resistance to the teacher as she shows up, to falling for traps laid by the Trickster, to finding peace with her path. If you love reading authentic stories about women on their spiritual journeys, this is worth picking up, but as I said, there are many other authors who share far more exciting and interesting stories.

I liked the book and would like to read done of the authors other books. I did not feel that the book was what I though it was going to be. The note from the World Review on the back cover is misleading. Heather Hughes-Calero is amazing at describing her journey at her uncle's ranch.

Heather Hughes-Calero writes well. She was very forthcoming in her quest. I learned somethings about the inside of ones thoughts and soul.

This is like a meditation. It correlates the work I've been doing on my growth through Eckhart Tolle.
