Omg get the tissues
This was a brilliant book I enjoyed so much I 've not read anything from this author before but I 'll differently be reading more she is brilliant I can't believe it took me so long to read something from her the story is about Cassie she goes through so much in her life but what a strong woman ye she as her ups an downs but God I don't think I could have gone through what she did but she as great friends an family to help her through what happened I don't want to go into to much detail cause I don't what to spoil the story
This story is totally addictive had my emotional from the beginning I think I went through a box was tissues I was totally al over the place with my emotions I was hooked into this story straight away I didn't want to put it down I luvd the characters so much Cassie is just an amazing woman she cares so much for other an will do anything for the people she luvs an Jordan OMG I just luv him he is just so suited to Cassie they r so alike they make the perfect couple

Why have I waited so long to read this authors books. This was a brilliant read that's gonna stay with me for quite a while.
This is Cassies story. She has gone through so much heartache and pain. Thankfully this makes her a stronger person.
The author did a great job of how she portrayed her characters. I loved how they came across so real. I felt as if I was going through the emotions with them.
A story of losing love and finding love. It's a raw, emotional and beautiful story. The heartache and pain will have you grabbing the tissues.
Definitely going to read more of this authors books. I loved it.

not really a fan of this one. i didn't believe or feel the connection between the H/h. i can appreciate the story the author was trying to tell but most of it just felt like it was written by a teenager so i couldn't take it serious.. and i know our heroine is 16 for some of the book but i am talking about the actual quality of the writing. sorry.
also, way too many exclamation points were used after nearly every sentence for the first 2 chapters. enough was enough! i got it! the first time! our heroine! was 16! she was excited! and making a point! to the reader! but... no! stop it! don't use ! every 2 lines. it's ridiculous.

This story is written with so much love and emotion, it's hard not to get lost in the story and feel the emotion the characters are feeling. It's the kind of story that will pull at every heart string.
This is Cassie & Jordon's story and it will show you that love and soul mates do indeed exist.
After a very traumatic experience, Cassie loses herself and struggles to overcome the trauma she experienced. But when she meets Jordon, he
shows her the love she so desperately needs to overcome everything.
When future opportunities arise for both of them, causing them to
question a future together, Jordon promises Cassie that no matter what, he will find her again.
Several years pass and Cassie has a new life with a husband she loves
very much, but tragedy strikes again for Cassie and her past comes back to haunt in the most horrific way.

My one regret- Krissy has done it yet again. Wrote about a character true to heart. Cassie must face one of the hardest things, no one needs to face. RAPE!. Cassie ' s emotions and reactions are so real. To face such a trial on your own is hard. Being afraid to open up to others, get over feeling like it was your fault. She nails it with this character. Every single emotion I could go through was written in these pages. To go on a journey and find yourself, find a true and undying love. When she follows her dreams she must.leave a love behind. Life gets in the way. Jordan is everything you would ever want. Supportive, loving and true. He has her back.just like her best friends. He doesn't blame her for the attempted or the rape. Because of her she shapes his life as well. When life seperatly them. Cassie finds happiness again but with another. But a part of her was always hidden. Cassie and Jordan find one another in time. And together there story one day and a time unfolds. This is a beautiful love story. That shows the power of life and fight. I applaud you once again Krissy for writing a touching and controversial subject once again .

The end of school arrives and career opportunities means they leave each other's lives. But tragedy and more trauma being them back into each other's lives. Can Jordan keep his promise to always save her?
Make sure you have plenty of tissues for this, I cried, I smiled and my heart broke a few times over... this is a must read.
Krissy V is fast becoming one of my favourite romance authors, I need more!

Krissy V has done it again. This book deserves far more than 5 stars. This is my favorite story from Krissy so far! I have loved everything I have read by her.
Have a box of tissues ready because you will need them through out this book. It is an emotional roller-coaster. I did not want to put this book down by I had to at times because I was crying so hard. I am excited for you all to read this one!

Get your tissues at the ready you will need them.
I loved this book. I read it in less than 24 hours I just couldn't put it down, when people say it's a page turner they are so right, I was sucked in to this story from the first page not chapter. BEST BOOK HANGOVER EVER!
The way Krissy V has written this book is beautiful. An emotional roller coaster of a story that took me on an amazing ride! I felt the pain, hurt, heartbreak, friendships and love all the characters go through.
This book will give you hope of what is out there and that soul mates are really true, also make your open your eyes and realise that everything Krissy has written about happens daily. It's hard to read at some parts but it's a wonderful story.

Prepare to cry and have your heart shattered
This is my first book by this author, so I didn't really know what to expect. I found the beginning of the story a little bit hard to get into - not because it was badly written, but because of the subject matter that it covers. Cassie, the heroine, suffers a traumatic event that will shape the rest of her life. How she deals with this affects not only herself but those around her. The event is not allowed to rest though, the perpetrator come back to haunt her.
Once the story moves into the present day, it became a wonderful, emotional and gripping story. One that certainly lives up to the term "a real page turner". Cassie meets her one and only love, her soul mate in Jordan - their story together is simply beautiful. But due to decisions she makes, Cassie loses eveything, causing not only her life to be affected, but Jordan's as well.
They say that separation makes the heart grow fonder - for Cassie this is so true. Jordan is never far from her mind or her heart. He loves her and he also has the ability to give her the strength that she needs. The heartbreak that this woman suffers is devastating, but it is one which gives her strength to deal with all adversity.
This story is amazing, an emotional rollercoaster that will draw you in. The characters that Krissy V has written were superb - they are one that will live in your heart and mind for a long time after the book is finished and put down.
A highly recommended read.

I found the beginning of the story a little bit hard to get into - not because it was badly written, but because of the subject matter that it covers. Cassie, the heroine, suffers a traumatic event that will shape the rest of her life. How she deals with this affects not only herself but those around her. The event is not allowed to rest though, the perpetrator come back to haunt her.
Once the story moves into the present day, it became a wonderful, emotional and gripping story. One that certainly lives up to the term "a real page turner". Cassie meets her one and only love, her soul mate in Jordan - their story together is simply beautiful. But due to decisions she makes, Cassie loses eveything, causing not only her life to be affected, but Jordan's as well.
They say that separation makes the heart grow fonder - for Cassie this is so true. Jordan is never far from her mind or her heart. He loves her and he also has the ability to give her the strength that she needs. The heartbreak that this woman suffers is devastating, but it is one which gives her strength to deal with all adversity.
This story is amazing, an emotional rollercoaster that will draw you in. The characters that Krissy V has written were superb - they are one that will live in your heart and mind for a long time after the book is finished and put down.
A highly recommended read.

One of the things that I have been trying to do is to define for myself what makes a book 5 stars for me.
1. I can’t put a book down and I know I just have to finish it.
2. The content makes me feel an emotion Crying, laughing, etc.
3. I start talking or yelling at one of the characters.
My One Regret did make me feel an emotion in fact I hard cried while reading it. By the way I hate crying and I try hard not to. Get your Kleenex’s ready! I couldn’t stand that I had to put this book down to go to work. While at work every chance that I had I read My One Regret using my Kindle App on my phone. Thank goodness, I got through the very emotional part while at home! Oh, and I was yelling (in my mind, while reading) at some of the characters. This book hits why I have rated it 5 stars!

It's taken me a few days to write a review for this book because I have had had one serious book hangover!
This is a story about Cassie and her first love, Jordan. We follow Cassie from a teen all the way into her 30's .
Cassie meets Jordan after a traumatic experience, he shows her true love and promises to always save her no matter what. The end of school arrives and career opportunities means they leave each other's lives. But tragedy and more trauma being them back into each other's lives. Can Jordan keep his promise to always save her?
Make sure you have plenty of tissues for this, I cried, I smiled and my heart broke a few times over... this is a must read.
Krissy V is fast becoming one of my favourite romance authors, I need more!

A book that will capture not only your imagination but your heart in a grip so tight that you won't be able to put the book down, till it is completely read e-cover to e-cover.

My one regret by Krissy V
well when reading the blurb I really didn’t expect the read that I was going to get but I’m so glad that I did! It doesn’t fail in the grab you and suck you in until nothing else exists section of books that you will come across. It is a beautiful story of how love wins even in the worst circumstances.
This book starts in the present and then takes you back to the summer of 1989 where we hear the heart breaking story of Cassie. Cassie is a young confident bright and pretty teenager who is loving life with her best friends until one fateful night her life is changed forever.
This is a story of how love and friendship can overcome the biggest obstacles in your life. It is taken from all the friends points of view and really gives you the idea of how such a traumatic time in ones life can also affect a lot of people around you.
The characters are fantastic they are down to earth normal people who just happened to be thrown a crap hand in life and fight together to overcome it. You get a real insight into each person and love that you read about them growing up and who even though all their lives go through different stages when it matters they are there for each other.
The writing is as descriptive as you want with certain parts toned down (it’s a good thing) and the great parts so colourful and loving.
It is a happy ever after book but there are lots of tears and giggles and smiles along the way so make sure you have tissues at the ready and maybe a glass of wine or 4!!!
The only flaw (if you can even call it that) was that as we changed character point of views the story seemed to go over the same thing that we know just happened as we read it just moments before.
There are triggers in this book that start right from early on in the book. The author clearly did great research into this story line to portray it so well and I for one think she did an amazing job and was happy to see the happy ending as I’m sure many others will be.
I will be looking out for more of her work.

3.5 stars. The storyline is really good and relateable.. the first love that we leave behind as we move on with life and where it takes us but always wondering what if... then there is a lot more to this book - heartache and pain for Cassie as she has to come to terms with the horrendous near rape as a teenager and actual rape as an adult returning to her hometown after the a trauma she faces while away (won't spoil for anyone who hasn't read). I liked the friendships shown in the book and the loving family who were always there for Cassie.. and how it showed that even when you have that it doesn't mean you are able to talk and open up to those that you know love you. Great journey and great ending.. loved the little twist about who owned the charity. (again no spoilers here lol).. the book lost stars for me because of a few things... I didn't feel as emotionally attached to it as I felt I should have, I felt I should have been sobbing at some of the things Cassie went through especially one of the scenes but I didn't.. I had moist eyes but that was it.. I would also have liked more description, especially surrounding the love scenes showing the emotional attachment which I didn't feel... it took me about a week to read and if I am emotionally attached to a book it would have been finished in a couple of days. I also found when pov changed the scene was replayed almost in full with almost two pages exactly the same with all the same speech etc.. but not really with anything added to make it necessary to re-include.. I like a new POV to mention the previous scene but to move on. I will try other books by this author.

My one regret is the first book I have read from this author and I'm really finding it hard to write this review.
My One Regret was really hard for me to read. The story line was actually a good story line but it lacked in emotion for me. This story just didn’t grab me as a love story because it was very one sided. The two main characters Cassie and Jordon are to be soul mates and are in love with one another, but as I read this I found Cassie really lacking in that love. Yes Cassie did have some drama, but instead of allow the one person who really truly loved her help her through it she pushed him away, plan a life without him, even though she claimed he was always on her mind I never felt it once.
To say I was disappointed in this book I can't lie. By the end I was really sorry for Jordon because his love for Cassie never died, he could never replace her, so yes we do have a happy ending but I found couldn't like Cassie.
This is the first book I have red from Krissy V, and I will read a couple of other books of hers.
I could only give this book 3 ½ stars.

My One Regret is a devastating, heartbreaking, soul shattering read. This story will rip your entire being into pieces and gut you before slowly and painstakingly putting it back together again. Have your tissues, a MASSIVE bar of chocolate and some alcohol to hand, you're going to need it.
Krissy V's magical writing in My one Regret will pull you into the story and not let go. This is a story that will stay with me for a long time, what Cassie has to endure during my One Regret is as previously mentioned devastating. Reading her story gutted me. It's hard, it's deep and it's really dark but it's also beautiful and uplifting.
I adore Jordan and his love for Cassie despite the twists and turns that are thrown in the way during their story.

This author certainly know how to make you feel. Reading this story is like going on a roller coaster...so many ups and down.
Cassie's story is a hard one. Her life is filled with so much joy until something happens, something that destroys her.
Here arrive Jordan..such a perfect guy..sigh..and when you finally think something good is going on..bam..
I didn’t know if I wanted to laugh or cry..Call me frustrated!
Separate ways and so much heartbreak!!!
I admit that when Cassie got married I was fuming...so mad..actually shouting at my kindle.
Nothing ever last tho and when tragedy struck I was once again in tears..
Past comes back to haunt and past friendships are still as indispensable as ever..

This book was so emotionally profound. Cassie goes through so much heartache and pain but she comes through it a much stronger woman.
Jordan is her soulmate, but fate and life decisions pull them apart for many years. During these intervening years, Cassie never forgets the love she has for Jordan even though she tries to move on with her life. Her life is one heart break after another. She loses not only her husband, but also part of herself.
True love always finds a way though, and tragedy brings these two back to where they belong.
This book contains subjects that some people may be sensitive to. It does contain un-concentual sex, so if this is a problem for you then I don't recommend this book. However, if you enjoy reading a story about how a woman can overcome all that she has been through and help others in a similar situation, than grab your tissues and strap yourself in for an emotional roller coaster ride.

Every now and then you find a book that brings you to so many places. This is one of those books. There will be lots of joy but be prepared for the tears as well. This is the story of Cassie & Jordan. Cassie meets Jordan at a very troubling time for her. She is going through her own struggles and tragedies trying to find a way to overcome them, then she meets Jordan. He gives her strength and has her back no matter what. Then there comes a time that what is best is if they go their separate ways, but with a promise to see each other again in the future. Then life moves on. Time does not stand still and life progresses. Cassie finds a man she loves dearly and gets married and is living a happy life, and then everything changes again. Once again tragedy has struck and changed everything for Cassie again. Will Jordan be there to save her this time, will he be able to repair all the broken parts of Cassie? Amazing amazing read!!

This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved it! Angst, young love, tragedy, tears. This book had me shedding tears in different places! Cassie and Jordan met as teenagers and felt an instant connection! Jordan said they were soulmates! But fate interrupted and both were offered an awesome chance for their careers. As hard as it was, Cassie let Jordan go, because she didn't want to keep him from enjoying life while he pursued his dreams and she pursued hers. Years pass by and fate intervenes again. Under tragic circumstances, Jordan and Cassie meet again. Does fate give her another chance to make up for her past one regret? This story was very moving and grabs your heart! This book is a great read! Second chances, love, what else do you need!?!

Cassie & Jordan meet in high school, Young lovers & soul mates, Like most young lovers they eventually grow up and go their separate ways, Jordan gets an offer to play football (soccer) in Toronto and Cassie gets the chance to go work in San Francisco for a publishing company. Cassie eventually meets and marries Chad, while Jordan holds out hope that his soulmate will come back home to him. Cassie goes through some extremely heartbreaking stuff that brings her back home, and eventually back to Jordan, this was one of the sweetest stories of love, heartbreak and soulmates I have read in awhile, Cassie goes through some truly heartbreaking stuff, and Jordan is her rock, her heart and as cheesy as it is her soulmate, it was a joy to read.

It was a second chance love book. Cassie has many struggles that she deals with. Emotional and physical. This was a good book. It goes to show that with the good support from family and friends that you can overcome anything. Cassie has a great support system when she is almost raped at 17. Then she meets her soul mate that vows to always be there for her no matter what. Things happen and they go their separate ways but each one has always been in the back of the others mind.

What can I say? Cassie's story is touching, it's emotional. I loved everything about this story. A page turner, that I read from start to finish in only a few hours. I cried more than once, I laughed and I shouted out loud. So glad there was no one home, my family would think I was mad.
It's not very often I feel the connection between all the characters when I'm reading a story, but I did with this one. The bond between each is very clear to me the reader.
The author has put a lot of effort into what is a very difficult storyline, but it is also very touching love story.
