The University of Navarra is a private university located on the southeast border of Pamplona, Spain. It was founded in 1952 by Saint Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer, the founder of Opus Dei, as a corporate work of the apostolate of Opus Dei.

I've only read the Romans portion of this book in conjunction with the The Great Adventure Bible series: Romans: The Gospel of Salvation. I have loved every Navarre Bible with commentary that I have ever read, and this one is no exception. The commentary doesn't answer every question that I have, but it explains a lot. Best of all it has quotations from Church writing and many saints, including St. Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei and the University of Navarra. I can't recommend these books of the Bibles with texts and commentaries enough. I hope one day to complete this book with a study of St. Paul's letter to the Galatians.
