Rate this book
Backroom Confessions is the compelling tale of five devoted social workers brought together to assist those in need. The fab five quickly realize that within the walls of the backroom lie infinite answers, plentiful problems and scandalous skeletons. Despite their affinity for helping others, each have their own struggles and demons to exorcise. Their often-candid backroom sessions commonly cause clash, ca¬maraderie, connivance, cheerfulness, curiosity and mass-confusion. As the lives of these office professionals intertwine, their journey together will take you on a thrilling expedition; including love, lust, embarrassment, backstabbing, infidelity, hilarity and steamy sexual encounters. For a brilliant story you wonʼt soon forget, relax and en¬ter the Backroom. Just remember to close the door behind you. You never know whoʼs listening.

The Meeting Room

Jericka is a well read, educated, peaceful and religious manager. She works for Human Services. The needs of the families hold a special place in her heart, but not only at work in her personal life as well. She is now working with a new crew of social workers and she believes that she's hired a good group, or has she?

Megan desperately needs accolades.
Phoenix whines and is genuinely unhappy.
Patches is a recognized ladies man who is educated and hardworking.
Denver suffers from mommy issues.
Jericka finds a way to justify so no one suffers.

Usually a good judge of character, Jericka is caught with an open door and is uncertain how to handle the fact that someone is trying to interfere with everything that she's worked hard for.

I liked Backroom Confessions and consider it recommended reading.

It was okay. I was hoping for more development of the characters.
