A why choose from ML Bash hate to see me coming
This is a MMF romance, if you don't have an open mind or like to read degradation kink you will not like this one.
This story follows Warren, who is married to the FMC Birdie, he is the owner of a casino and also a loan shark who doesn't like to be owed. When he is owed by someone who works for him, he sees an opportunity to get rid of him and take his son Rell as collateral.
This was a cute why choose, short and spicy, with a nice mafia type sub plot. Why I wasn't a fan of all the throat grabbing, I enjoyed the dynamic once the two characters got together. I wanted more of Rell's background before he was approached to join the couple.

I just want to say I did not realize this book had an age gap in the relationship dynamic with Rell and I do not like age gap romances. I will say Birdie is my favorite character in the book and she is the only reason why I finished the book. I did not like Warren or Rell especially the couple dynamic as a whole. I really wanted to like this book because this author is one of my favs… I just do not care for this book 2.5 stars but I am going to give it a 3 because I do like Birdie.

Mm, mm, mmmm!! M.L. Bash, you've done it again! This was short and oh so spicy! I really enjoyed seeing the relationship blossom between Rell, Warren and Birdie. Their connection does happen quickly, almost like love at first sight. There is spice, drama, and suspense in this quick read. I would love more from them. It would be cool to see more from Bruin, Malcom and Jameson as well.

The spicy scenes were HOT!
What I loved was the intimate connection they all had for each other as well!

4.75 stars only because I have some questions about Rell and his previous experiences. The author handled the subject matter with great care and it was NOT exploitative- I think I just wanted a little more of his backstory apart from his father.

Highly recommend this book as long as you are okay with swords crossing.

Loved This!!

This was a page-turner. From the moment I started, I was pulled into Warren, Birdie, and Aurelius’s world, and putting this book down was NOT easy.

Warren and Birdie are married with an open marriage and part of a five-family type of organization involved in some very illegal business. When Warren takes Aurelius as collateral for a debt, what starts as business quickly becomes something much deeper.

I loved the relationship between Warren and Aurelius and the way they protected each other and Birdie. Warren wasn’t afraid to show his love for his Baby Boy or his Birdie, and seeing that softer side of a man who could be so dangerous was everything.

I also loved the friendships and the freedom within their circle. There was never a feeling that anyone had to hide who they were, and that made the relationships feel authentic.

Add in the mafia vibes, twists, tension, and heat, and I was locked in.

Dangerous business, unconventional love, and people who love loudly and unapologetically? Yeah… I was sat!

I enjoyed this book more than I expected, because I don't generally enjoy books with violence. That being said, the relationship that developed between Birdie, Warren, and Rel was what I enjoyed.

I was never completely clear on Birdie and Warren's ages in comparison to Rel's, though I'm guessing there was at least somewhat of an age gap there. There couldn't have been too much of one, since Birdie wasn't too concerned with how long she had to have children, and she and Warren were the same age. I just wish that had been clearer, because it was in the back of my mind the whole story.

Anyway, the spice was spicing, and it was HOT! As someone in the BDSM community, I appreciated that limits, consent, safe words, and all of that were taken very seriously in this book, even though there was some rough play. I also loved to see polyamory done responsibly, too.

That's the positives. The things I didn't like are all part of the nature of this type of book, so it's dumb to complain about them or take away stars for them. 🤷🏾‍♀️ I hate when people do that.

I got the chance to Arc read Cashed In and I cashed tf in on Warren that’s my man with his bald head self I love him bad! Warren are MMC and his wife Birdie are both older with a few kinks and the major one is dominance that’s exhibited from both. In my opinion one dominance is exhibited passively and the other very aggressive. And then there’s the lovely love interest and third Aurelius!!!!! He has a shitty dad that owes some a lot of money and next thing you know boom, bam, boom someone is knocked out and the story starts! Malcolm is a fool and he does call everyone a Bitch! The love is felt, niggas are dealt with and I enjoyed every bit of this entanglement. Birdie is that girl they love her bad but they love there “good boy” even more
4.5 ⭐️ for me yall enjoy!

The spicy scenes were spicy. I have to give credit where credit is due. Rell and Warren’s relationship was also a little awkward in the beginning. There were moments where I was like, “Ummm… y’all good?” 😂 It took them a little while to find their rhythm and actually flow together. Honey, Bridie was having a BALL from day one! She came into this book knowing exactly what time it was and wasn't wasting any time. Overall, I still enjoyed the book, but I was underwhelmed by the storyline. The spice was giving, but outside of that, I found myself questioning where the story was going more than once.

Cashed In was such a pleasant surprise for me. Birdi and Warren are husband and wife who take Rell as collateral for a debt owed by his father, and what starts as a business arrangement slowly turns into something neither of them expected. I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the MMF dynamic going in, but M.L. Bash completely won me over. Birdi was my favorite, and I loved watching the relationship between all three of them develop naturally. Warren was hard on the outside but such a softie when it came to Birdi and Rell, and by the end I was fully invested in their love story.

Aurelius’s father owned Warren’s money, and Warren used Aurelius as collateral for a week. However, while Aurelius stayed in the home of Birdie and Warren, their dynamic was to put it mildly. My boy dive into baby boy or baby without a fight. 😂

I adore their contrasting personalities; they complement each other perfectly. One thing about Bash is that she’s going to make it both good and nasty.

This was an okay read. Nothing spectacular in my opinion. This was my first time reading a book by this author. I’ll probably read another book written by her even though I wasn’t all that impressed with this book. At times, I couldn’t keep up with the plot and kept questioning “Where is this story going?” The spicy scenes were spicing but other than that, that was probably the highlight of the book. Again, this is just my opinion.

This is MMF erotica, so if you aren't into men loving on men, this probably isn't the read for you. There was definitely more spice than plot, but the plot was there and gave the story enough substance to keep me interested.

What I enjoyed most was never knowing exactly how the spicy scenes were going to play out. You just had to keep an open mind, buckle up, and enjoy the ride. 😂 This book was unapologetically spicy and I enjoyed every moment.
