After being rescued from Preston Waters’ warehouse, Alina becomes the resident expert on Soul Shifters. She grew up in the world of magic fueled by love and Preston took that away from her. She lost her family, her future and her hope to him and she’s tired of being a victim. She doesn’t want anyone’s pity – she only longs to live a normal life.
Desmond has always done his own thing. He rejected the silver spoon he was born with in favor of a simpler life. He never expected that choice to come back to haunt him years later and threaten the very thing he loves most.
When Ty gathers new intel on Waters, everyone knows this is their best chance to defeat him. Desperate times call for desperate measures and Alina finally opens herself enough to realize she’s not as alone in all of this as she thought.
Sheer numbers are no match for their nemesis and as time runs out, not everyone is walking out of the warehouse.

I received a digital copy of Unleashed via Romance ARCade in exchange for an honest review.
Unleashed is Dez and Alina’s story. Their romance is sweet and slow, their connection quiet and warm, and I enjoyed it quite a bit more.
Isabel and Aaron are heavy in the background of this one, and Izzy continues to be childish and petty with Aaron, who isn’t adjusting well to being in a relationship.
The group has gained more powers as a result of the cemented connection between Izzy and Aaron, though, and Alina remembers and shares more of what she remembers of the Travelers and the fight against the darkness.
When Alina uses her power to locate more Evokers, she ends up connecting at a women’s shelter, and though the counseling temporarily derails her with Dez, she figures her feelings out soon enough.
The writing in this segment was much more even, and I found fewer mistakes.
I do want to continue reading, to learn what new abilities will surface and who will find the next love connection.

This story features Desmond who finds himself being overly protective of Alina since saving her life. Alina is still have nightmares from her horrific experiences with the Beast Preston. The Soul Shifters are still searching for ways to abolish Preston...
The story is filled with amazing impressive and engaging characters, humor, life threatening incidents, shocking reveals, fantastic scene descriptions, camaraderie, monsters wreaking havoc, and romance.
Exciting incredible well written read. Sennah has pushed the boundaries of imagination with this enthralling series. The story had my undivided attention till the end and I loved it. In a series the possibilities are endless and well worth the wait for the next book. {I received a romance arc for an honest review}. Without reservations I highly recommend this book, the author and of course the series....

Wow! Another great read
I was gifted this Arc in exchange for an honest review. This is Des and Alina's story. Having found out their arch enemy Preston has taken more evokers the crew of Soul Shifters, their evokers and friends decide to rescue them. Unfortunately disaster strikes one of the group. What is Des shifter turn out to be? Do they succeed in their quest? The story continues to unfold. I look forward to the next book. This must read is a 5 star.
