Excellent book: lots of good information and easy to read.

Not a bad book on caring for horses. It includes information on how to recognise certain breeds and a little on the different types of horses. I feel someone who breeds horses may get a better use from this than someone interested in the history and uses of various types of horses. Includes one very creepy photo on page 177.

Great as an introduction to horse back riding and taking care of horses.
