"This is a give or take world. You gotta throw a lil something out there for it to come back." From Memphis to Atlanta, Kema goes from country to lavish living. She's grimy and down right gritty, born with no filter. Every since the age of fifteen, she has held her own. Everyday of her life is a drama filled episode. Dimples is a beautiful down to earth girl that's trying to live comfortable. Stripping is getting is getting old to her but that's all she knows. Now that her baby daddy is out of jail things are looking up so she thinks. Shy and passive Tiana wants nothing more than to keep her grades up and finish school. Things take a drastic turn when she finds out that the person that she thought that she knew was her worst enemy.
This Story did not make sense at all, there was No Plot, it seems that the author just wanted to write about how kema has a big butt, thinks her cooch is the best in the nation, and how tough she thinks she is! Down right terrible. On top of the fact that Picasso did NOT Do FAMILY portraits, he would've been dead way before Dario was old enough to have a son!!! #Research! Kindalynn S
I'm not sure about this yet. It's too soon because it's slow going. The characters sucked. I didn't like one. I'm guessing the story is still forming because not too much drama or a anything yet. I'm going to read on and see if anything happens. It just faded out. I couldn't believe it.
Ooooooo!!! This one had me yelling at my phone. Kema old saddity ass made me mad sometimes but i respected her mentality. the niggas weren't loyal so it's every man for themselves. But I hated how she acted towards her own daughter Tiana... the shit had my blood boiling. Overall, this was an excellent read and i would definitely recommend it.
Interesting storyline filled with drama. Kema & Dimples had ambition & skills to make money which they used to their advantage. Kema's lack of compassion & vengeful nature easily allowed her wreak havoc on anyone with no remorse. I'm hoping Tiana gets the help she needs.
This book has a great story line and has the potential to be a five star read, if it wasn't for the errors and the sudden end to the book. Kema started out seemingly being a great mother but the itch for more money came first. I will definitely check out part 2 just to see how the story plays out.
2 best friends they are both mother's and strippers, the only difference is 1 is more about her self than her child and the other one is all about her children
