Very interesting and informative read. The author does not make wild and baseless claims, but instead proposes a well thought out and supported claim that the mind may be able to provide some healing for serious cancers. Using self help techniques to heal cancer is seen as complementary to traditional medical help, not as a replacement. I hope that one day other researchers continue this work, as part of mainstream science. This book is now ~ 20 years old, and I have not been able to find any similar more current books. It is disappointing to think that there may be no longitudinal studies emerging that would capture the last 20 years of data as they were made available over the years.
