Once Brent Williams is laid to rest, Emma and Jules have to figure out what to do with their father's empire. But first, Emma and Braden have more to worry about. As Emma awaits her fate, Braden is struggling with his feelings and his faith. He desperately wants to be with Emma, but in doing so he will be excommunicated from the church. To make matters worse, Emma's fate depends on his ability to appear as a concerned priest and not her lover. With a relationship filled with secrets and broken promises, will Emma and Braden finally get their happily ever after? Or will the justice system, which failed Emma from the beginning, make them pay the ultimate price?
Book 4 is another fast read and another emotional roller coaster. The previous books were filled with the terror and anguished Emma and Braden felt at the hands of Gabe. Now the terror and anguished is first caused by a broken justice system then the church. As the story plays out, Braden and Emma never loose hope of being together. Braden has always known loving Emma would cost him his priesthood but that has never mattered. As the story progresses, the reader feels the emotion of the couple getting over one hurdle only to encounter another. All through the story, you never doubt Emma and Braden's feelings and the lengths they will go to be together. I will caution readers who are interested in Emma and Braden's story.....make sure you have all four books before you start the series. You will go mad if you have to wait.

I've been waiting to see how this ends after the cliff hanger from the last book.
What I great book. I was wondering how you could weave the story of a priest breaking his vow and a married woman breaking hers with each other and have the reader rooting for them.
You have a man who went into the priesthood because he felt that was best for him. he then meets and falls in love with a woman whom he believes God sent him to to help. You understand how he reached that decision and you want him to find a way to be with her no matter what.
You meet a woman in a horrendous relationship who has lost all faith because she seeks help quietly and hasn't received it yet. Then he comes to her. She begins to believe that maybe this is the answer to her prayers.
As they both find themselves in new lives they must reflect and see if it was the struggle that drew them together or if there really is something there. They both realize that the things they did and pain they suffered really was because they were meant to be together. This was the master plan.
Great series. I hate to see it end.

With the cliffhanger ending in the last episode, I have been biting my nails for this episode, and I wasn't disappointed.
This story about how a girl who have lost all faith in God, but found it again when He sent Braden to save her has been really uplifting, and has been an really awesome series to read. Emma and Braden´s energy on the pages has been sweet to follow, and every kiss has been branded into my mind.
Would definitely recommend this series to others xx

Perfect ending to a truly wonderful amazing series. Loved it from beginning to end and couldn't turn the pages fast enough to see where this story was going to go. Looking forward to more wonderful series from Eve.

Wonderful conclusion to a great story. Lots of twist, turns, and mystery involved in this set of books. Lots of surprises as well as chemistry. All around smoking hot scenes. Eve Cates does not disappoint!
