I love Linda Nightingale. She has a way of drawing the reader into her stories and keeping them there until the very end. Her descriptions paint a vivid picture in your mind. Without giving away any spoilers, I will say that I loved this story from the first paragraph to the very end and fell in love with March and Christian.

March Morgan is a divorced woman who just turned forty. She responds to an ad in a women's journal for love.
Upon arriving Mayfair Electronics Ltd. based in London, March finds Christian and it is love at first sight.

Christian is an android who possess all emotions from hate to love. But Christian's and March's time together is not without turmoil brought on by March's ex-husband.

Once I picked up Love for Sale, I could not put it down. I laughed and cried along with the charterers. I highly recommend this beautifully written romance.

Do You believe in true love? March Morgan does and she goes to extraordinary lengths to find it. The title says it all, Love for Sale. March buys Christian, an android who is programed to love her. Seems that Christian is not your usual android. He can work around his programing and that does cause problems. What does not change is his love for March. The two find that they have more than one obstacle is overcome. Someone is jealous and causes trouble but that is not the worse March and Morgan have to overcome. Look for a surprise ending that will give the two a very long HEA.

March Morgan is about to turn forty and although married and divorced she has never found that special love she always dreamed about. She was married for ten years to Paul but she lasted ten years not because of him but because of her two step-sons who she loved like her own. She finally divorced Paul when she decided she had to look for her soul-mate and an ad in a women's journal would answer her prays.

The ad was for Mayfair Electronics Ltd. based in London and advertised "Love for Sale". They offered engineered sentient androids. They are special editions and can pass for human in every way. They can be customized in any way the buyer wants. When she first sets eyes on Christian it is love at first sight and by the look he is giving her he feels the same way. In spite of the exhorbitant fee she knows she will never leave without him. He is the man of her dreams, well not exactly a man, but in every way but being flesh and blood he is everything she could have ever wanted.

Back home in Houston Christian and March set up house and they both talk about marriage. There are only two problems, her ex-husband and Christian's inability to find a job. Paul uses his sons as a way to keep March close. She lives in the same apartment complex but the boys are not allowed to visit her, she has to go to them. Paul is determined to have control over March in spite of their divorce. When he sees Christian, Paul becomes possessive and belligerent, he is determined to see Christian gone and has no problem using his sons once again to get what he wants.

It doesn't take long before March and Christian fall totally in love. March has finally found the man of her dreams and Christian wants to do everything he can to help March and care for her. Although he is an android he possess all manner of emotions. He loves, he hates and he little by little becomes more and more independent. His independence at times scares March but it is also a reason she loves him.

Just when life seems to be going well the big "C" rears it's ugly head. March has ovarian cancer and it will become an all out fight. She is not only afraid for herself but what will happen to Christian if she dies.

The story has sex, androids, love, secrets, lies and betrayals. The relationship between Christian and March is beautiful and I fell in love with both of them. Linda Nightingale is an author I am always happy to read and I have read many and will read many more.

Loved this fresh scifi romance by an author not afraid to address tough existential questions. This is about March, a lonely divorcee who sees an ad that peaks her interest. Before you know it, she's on a trip to London to meet the man/Android of her dreams. When she meets Christian, it seems to be love at first sight for both of them. All seems perfect...until it isn't. This author addresses real questions and I found it all fascinating. Can an android be capable of real love? Can a human truly be happy with one? Can an android act like a human enough to fool the average person? Can the android misfire or have glitches? These questions and others are slowly addressed as the romance progresses. Christian is very real, even acting out of character for an android at times.

Its not a spoiler to say it will remind you of the movie BLADE RUNNER...the author even briefly addresses this at one point in the story. But while BLADE RUNNER was more sci-fi than romance, Author Nightingale's story is the opposite. I loved how March struggles at first how to handle Christian and treats him very much like an owned object. She threatens Christian with replacing him a few times, when he doesn't seem to act the way she expects. After realizing her error, the two of them are swoon worthy together. I appreciated the subtly written sex scenes, as more details may force the story into satire.

By the end of the book, I was winded by reading so fast. It was really interesting to read about androids who seem so very human, and think about them getting decommissioned. It sounded brutal to me...which is a testament to author Nightingale's delicate touch with emotion. There were some very minor issues with time frame between events (don't want to spoil) but they didn't ruin the experience. And yes, reading this book is an experience! Unfortunately there's a cliffhanger, but its worth investing in this love story

Love for Sale
(Tomorrow’s Angle book 1)
by Linda Nightingale

Love for Sale is the first book in Tomorrow’s Angle series, with an extremely creative plot and intriguing characters that are out of this world. Readers will adore reading every page of this story; filled with romance, heartache, action, suspense, secrets, lies, betrayals, and unexpected twists. Love For Sale can be read as a stand-alone science fiction romance; but it is part of a series, well worth reading.

Wonderful characters that are created realistic and emotional, working well together.
The relationship between character’s is truly beautiful, readers will have a hope of find a happy ending. Characters the readers cannot help but to fall in love with and their story will live on in the readers mind, long after turning the last page. And the world that was created for the characters in this storyline, seems so real.

Ms. Nightingale has a great imagination and takes her brilliant idea and goes a step farther in Love for Sale; a very different story of finding true love. Author Ms. Nightingale explored in depths of robots, in having intelligence, emotions, and bodies that work the same as humans. The author has a writing skill for naturally making her stories come to life, offering her ideals in an imaginative way, that will draw her readers int and will not wanting to put the book down.

I truly enjoyed this book and could not read this book fast enough and went on to reading the next book in the series Life for Sale. Linda Nightingale is an author I am happy to read and I will read many more. These are my own, personal thought and feelings about this book and the author, both receiving a 5-star rating.

Love For Sale by Linda Nightingale is a stand alone science fiction romance. In this book, a middle aged recently divorced woman named March sees an advertisement for the perfect android companion. She makes the choice to visit the company who offer these lifelike androids and immediately falls for the one named Christian and chooses to buy him. What happens over the period of their relationship is full of surprises, twists, and turns. I loved this unusual story and was very pleased with the unusual and amazing happy ever after ending. Love For Sale is a tale of a surprising romance with a wonderfully shocking ending.

Made to Love

Love For Sale is the first book in the Tomorrow’s Angels Series. It is a Sci Fi/Romance combo. I must add ugly cried more than once while reading it. You have a woman whose never been in love come across a classified ad for an android lover. She takes the bait and buys her a man that ticks off all of her boxes. Of course these is trouble. Her nasty controlling ex, her 2 step children, a cancer diagnosis and possible a recall on her man. You really need to read this one.

Love for Sale is an interesting read. The characters are well developed and likable, both human and android. The story is well written and has a jealous ex-husband, lies, deception, a health scare, secrets, and a second chance for true love between March and Christian.
I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

Although this novel starts out appearing to be purely a romance, it soon reveals itself to be much more.

Vaguely reminiscent of other stories with similar themes, such as Asimov's I ROBOT, this novel portrays the robot's side of the story as much as the human's, as the creations begin to plumb their potential and not simply the programs encoded into them. Author Nightingale has a definite feel for portraying experience as seen from the android point-of-view. The creations feel, they yearn, they suffer the same as their owners. They want to live, as well as love, freely. The human characters in the drama, from March herself, a romantic abruptly waking to the fact she's approaching middle-age and still hasn't had that grande amour...ex-husband Paul who divorced March but still won't let her go, using his two sons as leverage...neighbor Liz who tempts Christian but not in the way March thinks...are all well-written so readers will identify with or perhaps hate them as needed.

LOVE FOR SALE is a wonderful love story as well as a great bit of Science Fiction, one that is becoming more science and less fiction in the real world day-by-day.
