Keice is a Boss Chick that’s smart, paid, and successful. Although she’s had her share of downfalls, she continues to be the very best that she can be. Being hurt in the past by her ex-lover only gives her a reason to never love again, until she meets up with Hennessey.

Not what I thought. Well written great paced. This book is not easy to predict and you won't be able to put it down!

Excited to see what part 2 brings
I'm on the fence when it comes to Desmond and Hennessey because they say one thing then do something totally. Keice and Jessica are better than me because it would be a wrap after awhile. My mouth was on the floor when all the drama popped up. This is my first time reading a book from this author and it won't be my last. I'm ready to see how things end in the finale.

my my my, if it’s not one thing it’s another. i was happy when the girls got with Hennessy and Desmond, but both men done let me down. Desmond with his brother and Hennessy with this hxe Stacy. with everything going on i feel it’s best that they all need to stick together and not start falling apart right now

Hard to get into this one… Too cookie cutter with nothing to draw you into the story. Desmond doing what he did and his brother flipping was lame. The entire meeting and getting Jessica back was boring, it didn't make sense to begin with so what took place and him still not getting anything was a waste. I doubt I'd read the next one but if I'm bored...

Ready for part two
This book was soooo good. The male characters we're just trying to stay on the straight and narrow, but the hood kept calling. I love how they wanted to change for their new loves.

A great read
Storyline was great. Keice and Jessica try to have a fun night but Jessica boyfriend rasheed ruins it. Keice tired of jessica going back to rasheed gives it to her straight. Jessica blinded by love is dumb but after rasheed beats her and people records it she finally lets him go. Keice and Hennessey meet up after he helped whoop rasheed and they click. Hennessey is not your typical dude he has businesses and goals but his cousin Desmond tries to bring him down. Desmond is all about money so when he's a brother Ken offers him an opportunity this smuggling drugs for him he takes it. Jessica job is hard especially when she gets attached to 3 kids she reporting on. Hennessey and keice are working together in his stores but she has to put us jump offs in their place first.Jessica and Desmond try to kindle some flames. Desmond starts a war between Ken and Hennessey and Jessica becomes a causality. Hennessey has bigger problems when he sleeps with two cousins and they both pregnant but it may be too late when drama is brought to front door.

Yes I loved it. I'm definitely a sucks for a good hood book, but this exceeded my imagination by far. The disloyalty with Ken went way over edge. The characters were well thought out and the drama never seemed to go away. Was shocked at how Hennessy's character was so damm hood smart, but dumb as hell when it came to not breaking Keice heart. Johnazia this was definitely 1 heck of a storyline. I look forward to reading more from you.

Pretty good read. First read I've read by this author. Different from the usual hood books I've read. I really like Jessica. I think she is my favorite character. Crazy how these females are acting about Hennessey and can't to see him with somebody else. Curious what's going to happen next.

Hennessey And Keice!
A true example that you can get out of the dope gang and go legit! But to have someone that you trust working for you that almost messed it up for you, by trying to hide drugs in your furniture shipment from China. I continue to quote "Blood Is Not Always Thicker Than Water"! A great story, can't wait to read the sequel!

Too good!!!!!!!
Yes!! This was really good!!! It had a lot of drama! This story is not the typical hood drug dealer story although it does have a little of that in it. Hennessey is trying to change his life and b a legit business but he can't seem to win because he just have to hold his cousin down. Also he can't seem to hold on to his new woman. Ready for part two!

It was okay.
This book was just okay for me. The storyline was okay and I think the writing was kind of weak. Some authors have gotten caught up in just telling us what happened versus focusing on the real art of storytelling. There were moments in the story that were kind of slow... It didn't get "juicy" until the end. I will be reading part 2 just to see what happens.

Good read
Johnazia Gray does a great job with her characters. There are some things you see coming and others that just sneak up you. Hennessey and Desmond really need to learn how to be faithful though. Can't wait until Rasheed and Ricky get what they deserve right along with Stacy. Kiece and Jessica have such a sweet bond. What an amazing friendship.

Loved It
I loved everything about this book I was hooked from the very beginning. It had a great storyline and even better characters. First time reading this Author's work but it will not be the last can't wait for part 2.
