This little book by Mark Ezra is a perfect read-aloud book for children seven and younger. A little baby owl doesn't want to follow her mother and learn to fly; she wants to stay in her cozy warm nest forever. Discover how she learns to be brave one evening after her mother leaves her alone in the nest.
The watercolor pictures by Gavin Rowe are lovely; both parents and children will find this story charming.
