Trello is a free and easy-to-use online tool for organizing anything. This guide covers how to get the most out of Trello as a Project Manager for a nonprofit charity, Lean Start-up Entrepreneur, business, or for managing just about any hobby. This book includes many examples of real Trello boards addressing a wide variety of real-world problems, as well as tricks for extending Trello to make GANTT charts, calendars, strategic goal tracking, time management, customer relationship management (CRM), Agile development, and more.
I found this book a quick read yet informative and full of tips on how to make the most of Trello. It was easy to see how the examples could be used in a broad range of projects.
There was no depth to the content. Diagrams were often unreadable as the resolution was too small. I cannot think of any key ideas that I took from this book.
I rewrote this to combine an explanation on how to use Trello with how to think about managing projects with an Agile, pythonic philosophy. Trello has grown a lot since 2014 and the book needed to cover more use-cases. I welcome any feedback on the book, as I can add a section and publish it within a few days of hearing what's missing, or what's too long, or what isn't clear enough.
