Stopping the terrorists only made them madder.

The twelve-year-old secret savior of thousands, Greyson Gray, is given a new identity and forced into seclusion to hide from the Eye of Eyes – the most wanted man in the world and the leader of a rising terrorist group trying to divide the United States.

But Greyson can only be secluded so long. Drawn toward suspicious activity at the massive Iowa State Fair, Greyson and his faithful friends uncover a plot even more insidious than before – one that threatens the fibers of the nation and possibly the next president of the United States. For Greyson, everything is on the line – his father’s whereabouts, his relationship with Sydney, and the lives of everyone he loves. With new weapons, a new rival in love, and new enemies, there’s no holding back. It’s all fair game.

About the author

B.C. wrote the Greyson Gray Series to give today's children a real-to-life hero who is worthy of admiration - one who searches for truth, fights for justice, and dares to do good no matter the costs. Along with Greyson, B.C. added lovable characters with signature humor and a deep plot that grows with its characters both emotionally and intellectually. He believes modern readers are longing for powerful new stories that are both clean and exciting without any dumbing down.

He has a background in film, and many readers notice how his novels read like an action movie (and would make an amazing TV mini-series someday.) Just like a movie director, he prefers to stay behind the scenes; though he has greatly appreciated how many readers have fell in love with the series. He loved reading as a child, especially the Animorphs, Hardy Boys, and the Left Behind series, so it is a joy for him to give young readers another beloved series to add to their bookshelves.

Greyson Gray; Fair Game: It is a really adventurous book.
Reviewed by Cooper Covey

Warning: Spoilers

Greyson Gray; Fair Game by B.C. Tweedt was a really exciting and suspenseful second installment to the Greyson Gray series. It tells the story of how Greyson and his friends stop a terrorist attack. I believe that the main theme of the book is to never give up.

Greyson Gray; Fair Game is about a 13 year old boy who was allowed to see his friends and they were going to go off to the Iowa State Fair. They notice some sketchy people placing some boxes and sticks around the fair. Greyson and his friends were captured and the terrorists told the group not to interfere. They tried to stop the terrorist attack and warn people. But, Greyson and his friends were chased away by the terrorists and captured. They were locked in a truck with a nuke and the Governor of Iowa’s son, on its way to Des Moines, Iowa’s Capital. They managed to escape and the bomb was blown up just mere miles from the city and they saved thousands of lives, while losing many, as well.

My opinion is that Greyson Gray; Fair Game is an amazing book. I recommend it to anyone who likes daring adventures and suspenseful action. The book is very strong in how well thought out the terrorists plan is and how well thought out Greyson’s idea to stop it is. However, when it does get near the part after the first attack happens, It kind of confused me and I had to read it over again a couple of times to truly understand that part. I think that B.C. Tweedt did an awesome job on continuing the adventure of Greyson after the second book, when the series could've ended perfectly after the first one.

Overall I was pleased with how the book turned out. Greyson Gray; Fair Game is a stupendous book and I think that everyone should give it a chance. Or if this kind of book isn't your style then maybe you should check out some other books by B.C. Tweedt, the amazing author. Greyson Gray; Fair Game is still an amazing book!

Oh that RASCAL. Ok, I read “Greyson Gray Camp Legend” by B.C. Tweedt, which I gave 3-1/2 stars. Now I have just “finished” “Greyson Gray Fair Game”, book two in the series. As I was reading, parts were fun, but I was thinking, “Nah, I can stop with this one.” Not so fast. In this one, our fearless now-13-year-old is at the Iowa State Fair, and once again embroiled in trying to stop a far alt-right terrorist plot. End of book two? CLIFFHANGER. Even though I wasn’t exactly excited about this one, I’m going to have to read the next one.

Parts of this made me laugh right out loud. Parts of this made me snort in derision. SPOILER ALERT, except that this spoiler is in the Prologue, so not too bad. Can you picture 4 kids, one a killer, on top of a fast moving U-Haul truck swerving about in pouring rain and ANYONE staying on top of the vehicle, rivet-grasping or no? And, as they’re fighting on top of said U-Haul, can you picture stated 13-year-old pausing to admire his girlfriend’s beautiful blonde hair streaming behind her? I. Don’t. Think. So.

The first book I thought, “OK this is a pretty good plot, if you’re willing to suspend a boatload of disbelief. 3-1/2 stars for me, probably 4-5 stars for a middle grade (male) student.” As I was reading this one, it was SO violent, with SO much far-alt-right-evil machinations, and occasional fuzzy theology that I thought, “No, I don’t think I’d recommend this for a mid-grade boy.”

But sigh, I have to see now what happens next. I hope he doesn’t do this to me AGAIN after book three. 3 stars for laugh out loud stuff.

on an on

Way to long, especially when it ends with a cliffhanger. Could have been cut by at least 1/4 by taking out a lot of Greyson’s internal discussions and self incrimination. Got boring….
