Hope Sanders is a very talented midwife, one of the best. Her dream is to have a family of her own and she is tired of waiting for mister right. She is just weeks away from beginning her fertility treatments. She has been invited to attend a gala that is hosted by Dr. Aaron Cartwright to raise money for his charity.
Aaron Cartwright is a fertility specialist and he has been attracted to the lovely midwife who he's only had glimpses of in the hallways of the hospital for several years. She has the same attraction for him but they have never formally been introduced. The night of the charity event they finally meet and it is kismet but she told him one night was all she could give but didn't tell him why.
Aaron wanted to see her again and convinced her to spend the day with him. Later that evening there was an epic condom failure but she wasn't in the right time frame for pregnancy. After that she did her best to avoid him because she was crazy about him but knew he was not the sticking around kind. He never had a relationship that lasted more than a month or two and he was upfront with the women he saw that it was just a casual hookup. Hope needed to keep her focus on getting pregnant and having the baby she has longed for for years. She refused to let him close because she knew her heart would end up shattered.
Aaron had a lot of hurt and pain in his history because of an emotionally unstable parent. Hope had heartache as well. On the day she showed up for her fertility appointment to begin her course of drugs the doctor told her some very shocking news and after Aaron got hold of her chart and took a look, even though he was not her physician, he had a shocking revelation.
This is a fabulous love story. Sweet, kind, thoughtful, loving! It is a fantastic read and one I highly recommend!

A 4.5 for me
Our past affects how we build our future. We can take a negative and turn it around or simply compound the negative. That is the basics in this Romance where we have two people who have both been scarred as children but are trying to make a future that is as different as light is from dark.
Midwife Hope wants to have a family but has her doubts of ever being able to love a man with her whole being but she wants a family nonetheless. On the other fertility specialist, Dr Aaron, helps other people make families but for himself? He runs away from bonding.
But the two of these people coming together in a sensuous tale that Robin has woven is like the coming together of pieces of a puzzle . Pieces that fit together.
Leaving it to them to make a conscious decision of not forgetting the past but learning from it and moving forward.
This is, indeed, a very good lesson that if we will hang on to our past indefinitely, our future will always remain out of grasp. To grab the life we are meant to live we have to come out of the confines of our comfort zones and make a play for what we want. That is the way to live.

Take Hope Sanders an over thirty midwife and Aaron Cartwright a doctor in charge of ICSI with IVF procedures and you have a lovely story about two people with a past they weighs heavy on their future. They meet at a charity dinner and feel an instant attraction. Their relationship becomes involved but Aaron does not want to be tied down so the affair can only be for a little while. Sounds like a plan till a broken condom starts a situation neither expected. Robin Gianna writes this medical romance which is so informative but does not take away from the romance. When Aaron finds out the Hope is going IVF he approaches her and when he sees her exit the doctors office in shock realizes that he loves her. The last thing either expected was not to need IVF after all because that one night produced a baby. A wonderful story and just what the doctor ordered a very happy ending.

He had seen Hope around the hospital where the clinic was located but had never gotten a chance to talk to her. Aaron was hosting the annual holiday time fundraiser for fertility clinic and adoption agency. He was an adoption advocate. He himself would not let on but he was adopted himself. His mother had gotten pregnant at a fertility clinic, one that didn’t mind adding more eggs then necessary. Dr. Aaron believed in only 2 eggs. His mother gave birth to triplets and had been so overwhelmed and it caused problems and Aaron and his 2 siblings suffered because of it.
Hope had been blessed with the two parents but her mom had gotten pregnant at a young age. She did not think she had it in her to be with a man as she had had a boyfriend and could never commit to him. She began to feel there was something wrong with her. She knew she loved children.
Hope and Aaron met at that fundraiser and the story begins. Set aside enough time to read this book as you are going to want to read it in one sitting as it is that good.
Robin Gianna is a wonderful author and you feel like you are right there witnessing a baby being born, a street festival and more. Take time to read it and you won’t be disappointed.

"Her Christmas Baby Bump" by Robin Gianna is a wonderful 'Medical' classic romance. I have read a few books from this author and I have loved every one. Hope Sanders is a midwife who has lost all 'hope' of having a baby via the natural means. Aaron Cartwright is an IVF specialist. There were instances in his past that makes him the man he is today, and he isn't willing to face the past in order to move on with his future. What happens when Aaron finds out Hope is looking into IVF and wanting to be a single Mom? It brings up many things that he would rather not revisit. Excellent! So much to the story and it deserves to be read rather than me telling you the story.

This is a beautiful story set in a big hospital in Cambridge England and Christmas is fast approaching as we meet talented midwife Hope Sanders and fertility Doctor Aaron Cartwright who hails from America this is a lovely journey to a beautiful HEA between two people who never thought they would be part of a couple for their own good reasons.
Hope Sanders loves her job as a midwife she is happy and caring and more than anything she loves the joy that comes to her patients faces as she hands them their baby it is something that Hope has always wanted for herself but after being told that she can never love by an ex and her parents never being close she is beginning to wonder and of course she is getting older so she has made a decision to have IVF and be a single mother and has started the procedures but when she meets another Doctor at the hospital there could be lots of changes for Hope.
Dr Aaron Cartwright moves around a lot he was adopted as a child and has secrets that he keeps close to his chest he does a lot of charity work involving adoption he is gorgeous and well liked by everyone he works with. He has been at the hospital in Cambridge for a few years now and has had girlfriends but he is not the settle down type of guy but he is a top fertility Doctor and works hard at what he does and he has noticed the beautiful blonde midwife around the hospital and is hoping to meet her and when the chance comes at his charity ball he jumps at it to get to know her.
When Hope and Aaron are first introduced the spark between them is like lightening and this starts a journey in which they are drawn to each other and spend a very passionate evening together and when they finally start to open up there are more sparks but the surprise that rocks both of them will bring tears to your eyes and the emotional HEA is a beauty this is a fabulous story MS Gianna never disappoints and I do highly recommend this story it is wonderful.

I've always marveled at the wonders of IVF. No amount of research or reading material could enlighten me on such a thing. I will forever be amazed and even though I have never met anyone who has gone through with the process or thinking of going through with the process, I was glad to have met Hope Sanders. You see, Hope is a midwife and she is thinking of having a baby using IVF. What makes a single woman chose such a path? This character Hope answers many of my questions. She gives me insight into her life, her thoughts, her fears and her weaknesses. She sheds light on her love life or lack thereof. She is strong and she is thinks with her head. I love how brave she is when she faces the world yet deep down there is a part of her that is incomplete. A baby will fill the void. Only one man could make her double think… I view Dr. Aaron Cartwright as a man who thinks long and hard before he attempts to do anything in his life. He is not an introvert but he loves keeping to himself. He knows Hope just by seeing her in the hospital corridors. One day the two of them gets close. Their chemistry ratio explodes. They have a fling. But Aaron is one man who is allergic to long relationships. But with unexpected turn of events he might just need to reconsider his priorities…
(I tried as hard as possible not to give away any spoilers but all I can say is that Aaron and Hope get the HEA they deserve!)
Her Christmas Baby Bump is a deeply touching, deeply moving story. It is about two people who have had to carry heavy burdens in their past but through their current relationship builds something strong and lasting. This newly blossoming relationship will carry them through into the future and give them the love they need to remain strong and happy.

Robin Gianna writes absolutely beautiful romances!!
Whenever I get a Robin Gianna book in my hands, I have to smile. I know life is about to get better and sweeter. I know I'm about to have a great escape from everything. Her Christmas Baby Bump was such a GREAT read! Robin Gianna hooks me right from the very start, and keeps me turning pages until the very end. I am always so sad to see her books end, because I grow so attached to her characters.
If Romance is your genre... Robin Gianna is your author! I absolutely recommend this book! I can't wait to read what Robin Gianna comes up with next.

A really great read!!!!! I am so glad that I had the pleasure of winning this and reading it!!! Midwife Hope Sander's dream of holding a baby of her own is coming true!!!!! Shes just a few weeks away from starting her fertility treatment she meets Doc Aaron Cartwright . They spend one magical Christmas night. Hope ends up pregnant!!!! She has to tell Aaron the news. Will not tell the ending of this story you will just have to read it your self!!!!! Want to read more by this author!!!!!
