Library book. Quick evening read. If you are new to eating grains or greens or vegetarian options it may be useful. I found the recipes to be basic and fairly simple which is good if you are new to such cooking. Once you get the hang of it you may find you won't need them except to inspire your own ideas.
The author's notes were very chatty. The photographs were good.
BTW-While I love kale (grew up on it when it was cheap not trendy), I felt the book over relied on it. Like broccoli and cauliflower I also recommend briefly blanching kale when in salads or at least pre-dressing to soften. It will reduce the acrid taste brassicas can have.
