The incredible GEMS organization out of NYC - a network of survivors of human sex trafficking who advocate and serve other survivors - wrote this how-to guide for survivors themselves. It is true, blunt, and resoundingly understanding, but above all it is written with the brutal honesty and supportiveness that only survivors can offer other survivors.
This is a must have for all programs who serve trafficking survivors and an absolutely imperative piece of literature that can show the perseverance and strength of souls - including those who others have given up on and those who have given up on themselves.
