This book is a well written selection of short stories. The stories are imaginative with some great twists and turns. As an aficionado of short stories I was entertained by each and every one. The character development is well done but not anymore than the story needs. The book is well edited and the stories are in an order that draws the reader in. The only thing I was disappointed to find was the end of the book which came all too soon. Short stories are my favorite form of literature and this book was a joy to read. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for entertainment in nice bite sized pieces.

This is a very different book from the first one in the series. The first one I found to be hilarious at times. This one is a much darker book of stories. One story involves a guy putting together and modifying a girl in his basement and how he thinks he owns her. One story is a sad one about a fisherman and a human/krakan hybrid. Then there's a story about a guy meeting a lonely woman in a bar and that one also turns out to be really sad.

There's Romero and Juliet, another tentacle being and a really, really weird one about a guy loving a bug. Most of the stories are pretty good but the overall effect is depressing.

Weirdly good reads

O'Henry Twilight Zone all rolled up in each story. Unexpected endings and a couple you wish were different. I truly did not like "Remade' the last story, it is an open ended ending. I would love to have his victim do the same thing to him out of "love of perfection"
