This book challenges us to move from our places of comfort and go on a journey of intimacy with God. To listen to Him, instead of just giving our requests or pouring out our complaints. The author tells of her personal trauma of the sudden death of her husband and how that affected her and her family, but through that, God has taken her into a deeper relationship with Himself. She encourages us to dream 'God' dreams and grasp hold of the purposes God has planned for us through intimacy with Himself. We are diamonds in the hands of God, and diamonds are created through great pressure. One chapter is called, 'Our Purpose is Greater than our pain', it tells how God uses our past to shape our future. The whole book is backed up with scripture.
