Rate this book
Written from the perspective of a 23-year-old young woman who experienced a difficult break-up, A Beautiful Season takes the reader on a spiritual journey to find strength, healing, and identity in Christ during this precious season. Alexandra Savage has been there. She knows that the kind of pain caused by loss of love is the worst kind of pain. After much searching, Alexandra found that the only solution to this pain is Christ Himself. He offers the comfort and love that is so desperately needed during this time in a woman’s life. A Beautiful Season is a message of hope that through Christ, joy can be found in all seasons of life. The pages of this book are intended to teach young women how to cope after a dating relationship’s end in a healthy, Godly way. Singleness can be a season of beauty, joy, and finding one’s purpose in life, but only if we allow Christ to work in us and through us at this time.

So I need to start this review off by stating I am NOT the intended audience for this.
I am happily married, (so I'm not dealing with a breakup) and this does not represent my religious beliefs.
So why am I reading it? Every so often I like to choose a random book as it's good to read something different.
This is definitely different for me. I do not personally agree with some of the things the author wrote, but I don't disagree with some of it either.
It's aimed at Christian women. If you have this faith and need this support, you will enjoy it.
However, I think men can benefit from it as well. Some men do go through bad breakups, so if you are a man interested in this, then it's worth a try for you. Some advice could be used by them.
If you're not Christian and going through a breakup, you may find it of use still. It gives some good advice and ideas. It also makes comparisons to Disney characters, telling you to "Let it go". Making it relatable to others.
If you are new to the faith, you may enjoy it as well so you can truly appreciate your needs and a relationship with God.
So I may not be the intended audience but it could potentially reach out to many different people.
The Author is not perfect which makes them more relatable. And I can respect their love for their faith, because it makes them a better person, and aim to be even better.
Overall, I would not read this author again, but it doesn't mean its a bad book, it simply needs to be read by the right person who can appreciate the ideals of it.
