"Stylish... nonstop action...guaranteed to keep chick lit and mystery fans happy!"
—Publishers’ Weekly, starred review

"Maddie Springer is like a cross between Paris Hilton and Stephanie Plum, only better. The dialogue is snappy and the suspense beautifully interwoven with Ms. Halliday’s unique humor. This is one HIGH HEEL you’ll want to try on again and again "
—Romance Junkies

"It's rare to find a romantic mystery that's so funny, but this is certainly one of them. Maddie Springer (is) a ‘Versace’ Nancy Drew everyone can appreciate."

So 3 more books together and since the story continues with just a change of scene and murder victim it is really hard to review the three mysteries separately! I still like the characters and the badinage and that things move on in a realistic time frame... But the story lines are blurring. Maddie finds body, Ramirez tells her not to investigate! She does anyway and ferrets out the killer as said murderer tries to do away with her. Through her inventiveness or someone else's help she survives another day and the murderer is captured. I don't think that there's another book but I need a break.

Hollywood and Hawaii

A fun read and enjoyable. Some really quirky characters abound and the story lines are amusing. Our heroine is spunky and never gives up on getting the answer to the puzzle.
